"We should date"
Napabaling ako sa boyfriend na ngayon ay nagmamaneho. Tori and nissy decided not to tag along and gave us both as they called it...our intimate privacy.
"Mr. Tan...we are...dating" mariin kong pagtatama.
"I know. What I meant was, we should go out...on a date"
"A date? Really?" I scoffed.
"You kept repeating the word 'date'." He chuckled. "Oo nga. Bakit? Ayaw mo?"
"hindi naman sa ayaw ko. Kaya lang..."
"Kaya lang ano?" Kunot noo niya.
Bahagya akong natawa habang napailing.
"Why?" He repeated.
"Have you looked at yourself in the mirror lately?"
"Yeah. What can I say? I look fucking ravishing!"
"Oh my God! eto na naman po tayo!" Irap ko. "Yeah, ravishing. Your eye bags also looks ravishing" ani ko ata sabay kaming napatawa.
"Yeah, I know. But do tell me, your man still looks good right?" He winked.
I scoffed.
"Don't ask me a question that would end up disappointing you. alam mo na ang isasagot ko.
He just grinned.
"Alam mo? Ang hangin mo!"
"What? wala akong sinabi." halakhak niya. Maya't-maya pa ay rinig ko ang kaniyang paghikab.
