Chapter Thirteen - Battle Against The Devil Twins

In the hanger, Zatt and Ganodi wasted no time in attacking Deimos. They kept their guard up, knowing that Phobos could attack them at any time. 

Ganodi: Don't think we'll fall for the same trick twice, Deimos!

Deimos: We never use the same trick twice. We like to play with our prey. 

As Deimos said this, Phobos separated from Deimos's body. Seeing this deeply shocked the two Jedi. 

Phobos: We have been most patient, brother. 

Deimos: Very patient. Our patience is about to be rewarded. 

Without warning, Deimos and Phobos attacked the two Jedi. Deimos fought Zatt while Phobos fought Ganodi. The two Jedi found themselves on the defensive as the Devil Twins pushed aggressively against them. 

Ganodi: What's the plan, Zatt?

Zatt: We need to keep them away from the Ebon Hawk! 

Deimos: They think we want the ship. 

Phobos: How sad. 

Zatt and Ganodi soon pressed the attack against the Devil Twins in an attempt to force them to retreat. However, the Devil Twins showed no signs of giving up. As the battle dragged on, Zatt saw an opportunity to take down Deimos. 

Zatt: Ganodi! Go for an overhead strike! 

Without hesitation, Ganodi used the Force to push Phobos against the doors of the hanger. After doing that, Ganodi went for an overhead strike while Zatt went for forward strike. As the two Jedi landed their strikes, Deimos collapsed to the ground. 

Ganodi: One down, one to go. 

Zatt: Then let's....

???: Boo.

Zatt found himself unable to move. Zatt and Ganodi were horrified to see that Deimos had merged with Zatt's body. 

Ganodi: How....

Deimos: Now this is where the fun truly begins. 

Zatt: Ganodi....run! 

Ganodi: I won't leave you behind!

Zatt: Run! Get out of here!

Ganodi glanced over to see Phobos getting up. Despite not wanting to leave Zatt behind, Ganodi ran with Phobos chasing after her. As Zatt remained still, Deimos chuckled. 

Deimos: Allow me to tell you of my Semblance. You see, when I merge with someone's body, I become a parasite. Like a parasite, I can destroy you from the inside on a molecular level. Once I'm merged with another body, it's over. 

Zatt struggled to free himself, but he was unable to. However, he was still able to use the Force. He could see his Lightsaber on the ground. He then levitates it towards him. 

Deimos: That won't do you any good. You can't kill me without killing yourself. 

Zatt: That's the idea. 

Without hesitation, Zatt used the Force to activate his Lightsaber and stab himself in the rib. Both Zatt and Deimos screamed in pain. Deimos was forced to separate himself from Zatt's body. As Zatt writhed on the floor, Deimos limped towards him. 

Deimos: That was a clever move, but it was in vain. You'll be dead soon along with the girl. 

Zatt calmed himself and reached out to the Force. He began to manipulate the Ebon Hawk's weapons systems. He soon had the one of the Ebon Hawk's gunner's turrets aimed right at Deimos. Using the Force, Zatt fired upon Deimos. The resulting shot killed Deimos as his body was flung across the room. Meanwhile, Ganodi continued to lead Phobos away from the hanger while Phobos hunted her with relish. 

Phobos: I'll find you, little Jedi. Hide all you like, but I'll find you. 

Eventually, Ganodi finds herself in an Atlesian laboratory. Before she could react, Phobos had cornered her. 

Phobos: There you are! 

Ganodi activated her Lightsaber and attacked Phobos. Phobos quickly put her on the defensive. 

Phobos: I hope you'll make this fun!

In the insuing fight, Ganodi found herself unable to break through Phobos's defense. Suddenly, he stops in his tracks and appears horrified. 

Phobos: Brother....this...this can't be right.....

It was at this moment that Ganodi realized that Zatt must've killed Deimos. 

Ganodi: Guess your brother couldn't hold up against a Jedi!

Panic and anger sets on Phobos. He looks to Ganodi with fury in his eyes.

Phobos: You'll pay for this!

Phobos lunged at Ganodi, but Ganodi rolls out of the way, causing him to crash into a storage tank filled with water. Phobos soon becomes entangled in the tubing. In a state of frenzied rage, Phobos lashes out, but he inadvertently hits the electrical switch and is electrocuted. Phobos screams as he dies from electrocution. After that, Ganodi rushes back to the hanger to see a wounded Zatt. 

Ganodi: Zatt!

Ganodi rushes to Zatt's side and helps him up. 

Ganodi: Can you hear me? 

Zatt: G...Ganodi? 

Ganodi: It's okay, Zatt. Let's get you to the Ebon Hawk. 

Ganodi moved Zatt inside the Condor. She was able to find the Ebon Hawk's medical bay. 

Ganodi: Rest up, Zatt. I'll take it from here. 

As Zatt was left in the medical bay, Ganodi made her way to the Ebon Hawk's cockpit. As she begins to start up the Ebon Hawk, the hanger bay began to rumble. 

Ganodi: That's not good.

Ganodi then proceeds to contact Ruby via scroll. 

Ganodi: Ruby? What's going on out there?

Ruby(Scroll): Cordovin's got a giant robot chasing after us!

Ganodi: We're on our way! I'm going to pick up Katooni and Petro and then we'll head to your position! Hang on tight!

With that, Ganodi started up the Ebon Hawk. The engines roared loudly as all the Condor's systems begin to start up. 

Ganodi: I'm flying the Ebon Hawk. I can't believe I'm flying the Ebon Hawk....

Ganodi soon took control of the Ebon Hawk and flew it out of the base. In that moment, the Ebon Hawk had taken flight once more.
