Chapter 14 - It's On

The Next Morning (7 am)

Olivia's POV:

I slowly open my eyes, I look around trying to work out where I am but I then realize that I am at Nick's.

I take the covers off of me, I get up and I walk over to the door.

I open it and walk out into the living room to see Nick in the kitchen.

"Hey, did you want some breakfast before I take you home" He asks.

"No, I can't really eat before a game"

"Ok, do you want to get dressed and then I can take you home"

"Sure" I say as I pick up my pile of clothes and I walk into the room I came out of and I put my shirt on, I then slide my skirt up and tuck my shirt in. I put my socks on, I open the door again and walk over to where I put my shoes and put them on.

"Ok, lets go" He says as he grabs his phone, keys and wallet.

I open the front door and we walk out. Nick unlocks the car and we both get in. He starts the car up and starts driving to my house.

10 minutes later

"Thanks" I say as Nick pulls up at my house.

"No problem, I will see you in a couple of hours" He says as I open the car door and get out.

I walk up the driveway as the front door opens.

"Olivia, are you all right" Mom says as I walk straight past her.

"I really don't want to talk about it"

"You can't just run out of here and expect us to forget about it, we were worried sick about you"

"So, you are probably better off without me" I say as I stop and turn around and face her.

"You know that is not true"

"Isn't it, I ruined your life when I was born. I have been hard to handle because I have so many problems"

"You are just having problems that nearly every teenager has to put up with"

"Whatever, I should get ready for my game"

I say as I turn back around and start walking to the stairs.

"I don't think you should play today" Mom says as I am just about to walk up the stairs.

"Why not"

"Because I know you are versing Mia's team and I just don't think it is a good idea"

"So, I missed out last week because of her, I am not missing another week because of her" I say as I start making my way up the stairs.

Once I make my way up the stairs, I walk straight into my room and shut the door.

I go to my wardrobe and pull out my Phoenix singlet and shorts and a pair of my bike shorts and I start getting dressed.

15 minutes later

Once I finished getting dressed, I did my hair by tying it up and then I just reapplied some makeup and put my shoes on.

I grabbed a phoenix bag and put my wallet in and walk out of my room and down the stairs.

Once I get downstairs, I walk over to mom who was washing up in the kitchen.

"Mom, can I have my keys and phone back so I can go" I ask as she turns around and looks at me.

"Ok, fine but if I hear that something happened between you and Olivia then you will be grounded another week"

"What, that's not fair, what if she does something to me"
