Chapter 10 - Home Sweet Home

The Next Morning (7.55 am)

Ezra's POV:

I had a real restless night thinking about how a couple of girls did this to my daughter. I managed to get the three kids to school but I had to have at school super early which she is not happy about but the twins are use to it.

I am now pacing back and fourth in the hallway in front of John's office, so far, no one else has turned up yet.

Next minute I see Ava and Alice, Sarah and her mom walking down the hallway towards me.

"Hey Ezra, is Olivia ok" Alice asks as they all walk further towards me.

"Yeah, Aria is with her"

"That's good"

"Hi, I'm Natalie, Sarah's mom" Sarah's mom says as she reaches her hand out to shake.

"Hi, I'm Olivia's daughter and Sarah's English teacher" I say as John's door opens and he walks out.

"Are we still waiting for Mia, Mikayla and Emma and their parents" He asks.

"And Nick" I answer.

"Oh, yeah but Ezra, can I just have a quick word with you" John asks.

"Sure" I say as I follow him into his office and shut the door behind me. We just stand there in the middle of his office.

"Now Ezra, I just want to inform you that I am going go hear both sides of the story, then Nick and I will make a punishment up if it checks out that Ava and Sarah's story is correct. You can contribute into what punishment we give her, does that sound fair"

"Why does Nick have to have contribution to the punishment" I ask confused.

"Because Mia has problems and we don't want to give her a harsh punishment that will set her over the top"

"As long as the three girls don't get away with this"

"I assure you, they will not get away with this"

"Thank you" I say as he walks past me and opens the door.

"Can you all come in now" He says as I turn around and notice that Nick, Mia, Mikayla and Emma and their parents are here.

I walk towards John's desk and I stand off to the side while everyone comes in.

All the parents sit in the chairs while the kids stand behind or next to them. Nick comes and stands next to me.

"Why is my daughter here, she couldn't of hurt anyone" Mia's mom says before John starts.

"I'm sorry Mrs McDonald but Olivia said it herself that it was Mia and Mikayla and Ava and Sarah have said that Emma was randomly talking to them while this whole thing was happening" John says.

"That proves nothing, Mia told me what Olivia and Ava did to Mia, Mikayla and Emma so Olivia would of just said Mia's name and of course Ava would back her up on it" Mrs McDonald says.

"What did Olivia and Ava do to them" John asks.

"They screamed at them and started accusing them of doing something at lunch time"

"I was on lunch time duty and I didn't see any of that happen" I say.

"You can't blame my daughter when the only person that said it was her and Mikayla is the one that got hurt. It could of just been self harm, she might of even tried to kill herself"

"Why would she want to kill herself" I ask getting angry just having this mother thinking that Olivia would want to kill herself.

"Just look at her parents and the life she has and she probably wants attention"
