Chapter 20 - I'm going to get her

A week later and a couple of days later (Friday 12.00 am)

Olivia's POV:

For the past week, I have had and finished block exams and are still waiting for the results but I think I went pretty good.

I have been getting texts from Mia all week of her and Max in his bed but I have tried very hard to push it past me.

But now we are just sitting in a classroom with the whole grade watching a movie, 'She's the Man' because we have finished all our assignments and exams.

40 minutes later (12.40 pm)

*Ding Ding*

The bell for lunch time goes and we all get up and walk out of the classroom and Ava, Mikayla and I start walking to the cafeteria for lunch and I see Dad coming out of a classroom in front of us.

"Olivia, have you seen your brother" I hear Dad say as he walks up to me.

"No, why"

"Ms White just told me that he has skipped the whole four periods"

"So, he has practically skipped the whole week of school"

"Yeah but he normally stays for some lessons than leaves"

I can go and find him" I say.

"No, I will find him later, you are not to leave the school"

"Whatever" I say as Dad walks away and I turn around and start walking towards the exit.

"Olivia, where are you going, your Dad said you can't leave the school"

"I really don't care, you can either come with me or stay" I say as I continue walking.

I walk outside the school and I continue to walk to Ava's car because she drove us here today with Mikayla and Ava following behind.

Once I get in the car, Ava starts it up and starts driving home.

15 minutes later

We arrive home, she drives up the driveway. We all get out of the car and we walk up to the front door and it is slightly open.

I push it further open and everything looks fine to me. We walk further into the house and I see Max's head on the ground. I quickly run over to see his whole body at the end of the stairs. He looks like he was badly beaten.

"Max" I yell as I kneel down to him. I check that he has a pulse and he does but it is very faint.

"We should call the ambulance" Ava says.

"That bitch is going to pay" I yell in anger.

"Olivia, don't go there, you will do something that you will regret" Ava tries to convince me.

"Yeah, just call the ambulance" Mikayla tells me.

"I'll do it" Ava says as she grabs out her phone, she steps away and rings for an ambulance.

"Why did she have to hurt my brother"

"Because this is what she does. She will be punished for this so don't go and do something stupid" Mikayla tells me.

"The ambulance will be here soon and Mikayla is right, Mia is mentally unstable and she will be punished for what she did" Ava says as she comes back.

10 minutes later

The ambulance finally arrives, Ava goes out and shows them where to go.

"What happened" One of the guys ask.
