Chapter 5 - Home sweet Home with a surprise at the end of the day

Rest of the week later (Friday afternoon, 1.30 pm)

Hanna some how convinced me to stay the rest of the week, which I guess gave me more time to grab a car so that I can go home but I had to buy another baby seat and it gave Ezra more time to get things sorted so he can move to New York with me, meaning he was able to send his resume into one of the High Schools there and they have asked to meet with him. Alice and Ava drove back yesterday.

So I have just finished packing up my car with my stuff and Ezra has just finished packing his car with his stuff. Now we are outside the Brew saying goodbye to the girls and Spencer is holding Olivia.

"Ezra, if you screw this up again, you will have me to deal with" Hanna says as we all start laughing.

"I won't"

"Good" Hanna says.

"Now you be good for your mommy and daddy" Spencer says.

"Yep" Olivia replies.

"Plus you might have to make sure mommy and daddy doesn't do anything naughty" Hanna says laughing as I just look at her. Hanna than takes Olivia off Spencer

"Anyway, I think it is best that we get going" I say as Hanna hands Olivia back to me, I open my car door and strap her in the car seat, I close the door.

"Bye Aria, good luck on the book tour" Emily says as she comes up and hugs me.

"Bye Aria, remember if you are anywhere near us, let us know" Spencer says as I let go of Emily and hug her.

"Bye Aria" Hanna says as I let go of Spencer and hug Hanna.

"Bye guys, hopefully I will see you guys soon" I say as I let go of Hanna, I wave one last time and I walk around to the drivers seat and get in.

"So will I just follow you" Ezra asks as he stands in between my car door.

"Yeah, if you lose me then just go to the address I gave you. I will see you in New York" I say as I start up the car and he shuts my door and we walks to his car. 

I then start heading back to New York.

3 hours and 40 minutes later 

I finally drive back in my driveway and I get out after turning the car off. I walk around to Olivia's side and open her door, I unbuckle her and lift her out and put her down.

I quickly walk up to my front door and unlock it so Olivia could go inside. I walk back to the car and start unloading our stuff and taking it inside as Ezra pulls in behind my car.

"Hey" He says as he hops out of his car and walks towards me.

"Hey"

"Would I be able to take you out to dinner tonight" He asks as he stands in front of me.

"Yeah, I guess we could have a family dinner with the three of us"

"No Aria, I mean, can I take you out, just we haven't spent time together by ourselves" 

"Ok but what are we going to do with Olivia" I ask.

"I have organised with Alice for Olivia to sleepover at hers"

"Ok, where are we going" I ask suspiciously. 

"Its a surprise, before you left, we never really got to go on a date since I was your teacher and we felt like we couldn't when I went to Hollis, so I am trying to make up for it"

"Ok, sounds good but you will have to tell me what to wear. I don't want to be over dressed or under dressed"

"It wouldn't matter, you will still look good in anything" He says as I give him a smile, I walk past him and start helping him take his stuff out, and we take it inside.
