(Third POV)
'NOT AGAIN!!' Hitoshi and Izuku thought as they watch Ms. Joke making her way to Eraser. Just then, Izuku added his cover. Pulling Shoto and Katsuki to cover him. Making a sorrowful annoyed face, Izuku told them to not let the crazy woman see him. 'like father like son I see.' Joke thought as she sees Izuku pulling to boys for cover. "Izuku!!!" She exclaimed running to the boy attempting to hug him. While she makes her way blabbering about how Izuku should grow up fast and marry her, the older Aizawa wrapped his scarf around the green-haired woman.
"Aizawa, you sure Ms. Joke is not Izuku's mom? Green hair?" MIna said. "I am married to Present Mic," Aizawa replied tiredly before pulling Joke away from his boy. "But you know... before..." another said before others continued with the same theory. Aizawa glared at his students. He didn't like the topic they were having. Izuku's good mood was not defeated though. Hitoshi and Shoto turned Izuku's attention away from what the class is saying. So Izuku had no idea what they were talking about.
After all the meet-ups Aizawa walked to the building and the students followed behind. The teachers walked in a different hallway while the students were lead to a square room. There they saw a man competing with Aizawa's tiredness. He's much more critical actually. He talks slower and basically didn't put the instructions into detail. Lucky for Iida and Izuku who always pays attention to this kind of event. They saw the pamphlet where all rules are written in the box corner of the room. (Yes, I'm gonna do the same thing from my other story 'Izuku Todoroki'. Except for some differences of course.)
Taking more for his classmates, Izuku handed one to each. Apparently, the pamphlets are limited. Perfectly just enough for his class. Lucky for them they noticed he guessed. Without further ado, the sleepy man announced the exam start. Well, Izuku wasn't confused. He watched it for too many years. It was his prize from Nezu and the Hero commission for helping Nezu with some criminal cases.
Anyways!!! Everyone in 1A upgraded their plan. Izuku had planned it all. Opponent's quirk possibilities. He, Todoroki, Yaoyorozu, Bakugou, and Shinsou along with a little bit of Iida had to split though if ever the class falls apart into different groups. He assigned them as 'leaders'. Not that the others know though. When they had a quick meeting at the bus, they only agreed that Izuku would be the leader since he had created the plan.
Flashback...
"Okay, Guys... I have a plan for the exams." Izuku stood up from his seat. He's maintaining balance despite the bus moving. It was only after three minutes of being on the bus he decided to tell this plan of his. Everyone looked at the green head weirdly. "we still aren't sure of the exams though..." Yaoyorozu said. "Even I'm not sure what things they'll make us do," Izuku replied. Which just gave him weird glances from his classmates. "but, I have watched it many times. How am I allowed to? That's a secret but! I have." This caught the attention of many.
"Actually, I believe we can go on without a plan but, It's better safe than sorry you know? I heard remedial lessons for these are hell..." He muttered the last part. "So here's the plan. Teamwork is important here. Kacchan, Shochan... you two have to listen intently!" Izuku eyed the two. before continuing. "There's always one thing in common every year. Every school aims for UA first. Why?" Iida raised a hand. It wasn't supposed to be an answer and question since Izuku is really just explaining but he thought it would be better if it goes on like this so he's sure everyone understands.
He pointed at Iida who stood up and answered, "Because of the Sports Festival!" He answered. "Correct! We may seem at a disadvantage since they know our quirks but- we are actually stepping ahead of them. I'm telling you this first so you'd have the right mentality. When we become pros everyone will know our quirks, both civilians and villains... our situation now is close to that than any other school." Izuku smirked as he sees his classmates gained confidence. "Don't get too confident though.., you'll end up losing... so here's our plan," Izuku explained many of the basics. The exams have many rules but Izuku made sure his plans will not defy any of them.
After explaining and confirming that everyone understood, Izuku sat close to Momo and some others before returning next to his brother. "Yaoyorozu-San. I need you to..." Izuku whispered something to Yaoyorozu. Soon he made his way to Bakugou and Shoto passing a paper. Both boys nodded in agreement. Next, he went back to Hitoshi. Beside him the other side was Iida. He passed a paper to him and Iida nodded with determination.
Flashback End
All schools were given ten minutes to prepare inside the arena they were left to. Momo took the time to create what Izuku has requested of her. She gave the six pairs of ear communication devices. It wasn't against the rules since it is quirk created and teamwork is meant to happen within this battle. Each was given to the chosen leaders.
"All of us will hear what the other leader is saying," Momo said, earning thanks from Izuku. "Well, the rest of you, Iida and the others who have this earpiece will earn directions from me. But please trust them as a leader. If I made an error on my part, I will take responsibility.... which I highly doubt." Izuku muttered the last part.
He is confident and absolute in his own game. As long as he can lead his classmates who have the right mentality to win this part of the exam, he will have no worries at the next stage unless Bakugou loses his cool and Shoto gets triggered by something related to his ugly father.
Yes, he sort of manipulated them.
