Izuku Aizawa (Dadzawa)

Chapter 15: Sports Festival

(Third POV)

Finishing his laps after thirty minutes, which was faster than Shota had expected, Izuku was now panting in the locker rooms, to be met with his classmates staring at him. "Woah! You okay Izubro?" Kirishima asks, "Yeah, you okay Izuku? you look beat up" Inasa followed, then Denki.. "The festival hasn't even started yet." Izuku could feel Hitoshi smirking at his suffering right now. Even if he is in a different locker room.

He decided to sleep a bit more in Recovery girl's clinic. Maybe he'd be less drowsy later when everything starts.

Aizawa was now at the teacher's lounge with mic trying to pull him out of his desk. "C'mon Sho!! You're gonna join me entertain the crowd!!!"

Yamada had enough and decided to carry Aizawa. "Put me down Hizashi!" unfortunately for the sleepy bum, Present Mic doesn't comply to his exclamation.

Some students are doing training, some are just stretching. Finally, they are gonna be called on the stage in thirty minutes. Iida, who used his quirk on the way to Recovery Girl's office.. Gladly woke Izuku up.

"Izuku, it's starting." Iida said as the greenette sat up rubbing his eyes. "oh.. How long was I out?"

"two hours.. But the event is starting earlier than planned since everything is complete."

"Ohh then let's go." Izuku got pulled by Iida, now he's like a kite as he can't keep up with the four eye's speed. Once in the place they are assigned, all the class have to do is wait for their section to be called.

"MAAAAKE SOME NOISE EVERYBODY FOR UA'S SPORTS FESTIVALL!!!!" Mic hyped, officially starting the event. Then a couple more hyping up and his and Aizawa's small arguments. Midnight took over the stadium.

"Class 1A!!" Midnight called from stadium. The crowd went wild as they walk out, seeing the next generation of heroes was cool for them. Especially class 1A. They gained popularity for surviving the villain attack in USJ.

"Okay, Izuku! You'll be this year's representative. Say something to your fellow schoolmates." Izuku yawned as Midnight called him up.

On the stage, "Uh.. Do your best and go plus ultra...!" It was rather depressing than motivation kind of speech. "Cmon! Don't be like your father!" Midnight begged playfully as she ruffles his hair. "GO BEYOND PLUS ULTRA!!" he yelled and then cheers went on. Talk about change of mood. "That's the spirit!!"

"Okay students! For the first event,  we have the Obstacle course!!"

Meeting up with Hitoshi at the starting line, Izuku told Hitoshi something important that would be a great help later.

"you got the idea?" Izuku asked
Hitoshi nodded at him. "Then, maybe tell Todoroki too.. But he's one stubborn to be number one, same goes for Inasa.

"Go!!" Present mic signaled. Making every student run. But, Shouto decided to speed in front of everyone. Of course, Hitoshi, Izuku, and Isao who saw this coming dodge and slid on the ice as they pass by some Zero pointers... 'wait.. ZERO POINTERS!?' Izuku thought. "Dang, I just want to run.." he whined. On par with Hitoshi, Izuku brought out two Capture weapon.  "Zawa said we can use it." he passed one of the scarfs to the purple hair boy. Then they started swinging, using the faux villain thin but thick enough parts to hang on to. Todoroki is still in constant speed while Bakugou made explosions passing by the two quirkless at the moment. Inasa is on same with Todoroki.

"Getting some broken parts from the defeated robots, Izuku and Hitoshi made it to the next obstacle. It's a long way down but they can swing with ropes. So they did allowing them to finish fast and catch with the three in front of them. Shoto and Inasa was careful at the land mines as they don't want to hurt other students from behind. Getting there, they stopped at the front before the mines. "Toshi, dig down there. And round up some land mines." he ordered. Hitoshi complied to his cousin. "Then, we'll ride the sky! Great thinking Broccoli!"

"I know, I'm a genius." the broccoli said. Just enough explosives then Jump! "WOOAAAHH THERE'S AN EXPLOSION AT THE STARTING LINE! IS IT AN ACCIDENT? OR INTENTIONAL!!??" Mic exclaimed. The crowd went wild. "IZUKU FROM 1A AND HITOSHI FROM GEN ED ARE FLYING EVERYBODY!! FLYING I SAY!!"
"..I can't believe I'm here with you.."
Aizawa's voice in the background.

Now passing the mines and the three, Izuku and Hitoshi are now running in front of Todoroki, Inasa and Bakugou.. But the last added more explosions which made him in the lead. Just as Izuku expected. Which brings him to the final step, erase the quirks of those behind him and going second place. Running fast than when he was holding back, he's on par with Bakugou making the latter more competitive. But Izuku was there before the end of the finish line, he stopped his tracks before going out then Bakugou came rushing out making him first then Izuku second, canceling his quirk, Inasa was third and Todoroki was fourth. Hitoshi with the massive lead was fifth, Then other's followed.

"Why'd you let me go first?" Bakugou asked. Izuku shrugged which made the blonde irritated but decided to calm his self.

"Why'd you do that Izuku!?" Shoto said. "You'll see. I've watched the sports festival too many times not to notice." Izuku smirked at his content.

"ALLRIGHT! HERES THE LEADER BOARD!" after showing the place everybody got, Midnight started to talk again.. "Okay, Next event is the...?? CAVALRY BATTLE!"

"okay, so here's the rules." (Same rules as the anime)

"TEN MILLION!?!!!" everyone shrieked except Hitoshi and the certain 'genius'. "YOU KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN DON'T YOU??!!" an angry blonde shouted at Izuku, "Well, It's not my fault you're first!" He hustled. "So this is the catch you were talking about.." Inasa said and Shouto just gave a small smile. "every second event, the winner of the first event would always suffer on something, Though.. in order to get first place, we need to steal that ten million from him." Izuku said. And so, Upon choosing team mates, Izuku's team is safe to say, overpowered.
