Chapter 16: Izuku's Three Options

(Third POV)

Izuku's team was obviously with his friends and cousin. There were no rules that said strong people can't be together. They took advantage of that.

Inasa, Todoroki, Izuku, and Hitoshi. "WOW ERASERRR THAT GROUP IS INSANE!!! IS THAAT EVEN ALOWWED?!!!" Mic commented as they saw the four already planning their victory. Aizawa's sigh can be heard from the mic, "There is no rule that states about teaming up aside from needing to have four people." he said monotonously.

With Izuku and his team..
"We aim for second or first." Hitoshi said. "why second?" Todoroki asked. "I'm not sure of our victory over the ten million." Izuku said. "Ohh that makes sense!!" Inasa was ready and full of determination. Then Izuku started talking again. "Well we have three options." the three began to listen intently at the greenette.

"One, We take everybody else's headbands and ignore the Ten Million. Two, We steal the Ten Million. And.. Three," Izuku smiled almost shiz eating as his father. This send chills over his three friends. "We steal every headbands including the Ten Million worth."

"YOU'RE CRAZY IZUKU!" Hitoshi yelled catching the attention of many. "Sorry but, winning full out in this game would be fun." Izuku said intentionally making his voice loud and clear to taunt other teams.

"YOU LOOOKING DOWN ON US!?" and other same comments were made by the other students. "Hyping up the crowd I see.." Todoroki said. "You really wanted this to be hard for us don't you?" Hitoshi said. "Is this revenge for laughing at you earlier Izuku kun?" Inasa asked. "Nope, actually.. Toshi, you're the rider. You can brainwash other teams to give us their headbands, aside from that, you're good at pulling off stunts sneakily. Same as dodging."

"Wh-what? WHY ME?"

"I just said the reason dumdum.." Izuku gave him a 'bruh' look. Then he continued "Todoroki your at the right side, go all out with your ice. Inasa I need your whirlwind strong on the left. You both will be great for defense. I'll be front and try to erase quirks from looking side to side and up and down." The three couldn't do anything but nod, aside from their confidence boosted up by Izuku and his assurance that he'll use his quirk to help make things easier, the plan seems to be perfect. Just in time, Midnight started the event.

Half of the other teams went straight to Bakugou's, and half went towards Izuku's. Shoto Immediately froze all the attackers on the right making Hitoshi pull four headbands. "Four down, seven to go!" Inasa cheered. Inasa handled the defense on the left. Which made two teams back up because of the whirlwind. One team seemed to give up on Bakugou, then rushed in Izuku's team direction. Hitoshi managed to make the rider reply and gave up the headband to us. "Five, six" Inasa counted.

Izuku, aside from looking at where he is running, is also looking at Bakugou's team. He's thinking on how could they get the Ten Million. 'Top four teams? Well, good luck choosing among the zeroes.' Izuku thought as he saw an opening.

Bakugou, uses his quirk to scare others away. He would sometimes fly himself up in the sky, it is counted though since he technically didn't touch the ground. He uses Sero's tape to connect to his team. Bakugou is smart, but Izuku is smarter. Bakugou is strong, but what will he do when they all lack their quirk? Izuku's quirk is stronger in his plan.

"Let's wrap the other teams up, then we'll go one on one with ten million pomeranian." Izuku said.

Hitoshi had chills. He knew Izuku right now is the mature bastard. And that mature bastard has extreme focus and will to win. He knows Izuku is a genius almost on par with Nezu, when the greenette gets confident like this.. Then victory is at reach. Hitoshi smirked at his cousin's leadership.

After sneakily pulling out other headbands, they put their focus to Bakugou. Shoto made sure to freeze other teams in their place, some teams are frozen to place by the cause of Hitoshi's quirk. If ever they escape, Inasa would be the best person to fly them away. 

"Hey! Bakugou!!" Izuku called. Bakugou was determined to run away not wanting to risk losing his headband. "ONE MINUTE LEEEFFT!" Present Mic yelled, it followed by crowd cheering. "WHAT'S THISS!??? HITOSHI'S TEAM IS REALLY GONNA TAKE EVERY HEADBAND!!?" "Izuku from the hero course is a cruel mastermind." Aizawa followed Mic's comment.

"Shochan! Freeze them to place, I'll erase their quirks.. My limit is more than one minute anyways." Todoroki complied, leaving their heads for breathing. Histoshi easily riled up Bakugou, used his quirk then took the Ten Million.

"Operation Third Option, Success." The four of them said. Low-key feeling like spy agents. The one minute ended and the score was,

Ten Million+ First place, Hitoshi. Others were dubbed zero. Of course it couldn't continue like this. They have to add extra minutes to choose their other three placers. And so, another Cavalry battle happened. This time, no ten million and no Hitoshi, Izuku, Shoto, and Inasa. Could the staff blame them? No. No they couldn't. They did say "show your best" and that's what exactly the four did.

Izuku and Hitoshi wasn't as flashy as Shoto and Inasa, but Hitoshi was still praised by the wonderful brainwash quirk. As for Izuku? They still can't figure out what his quirk was. Oh well, let's show my full capabilities to the next event. Although his quirk wasn't praised... yet, Aizawa's quiet comment caught many's attention. "Cruel Mastermind"

Izuku would be a perfect hero in getting out of difficult situations and turning the tables around. Many are glad that he's aiming to be a hero.

The time was up, the Cavalry battle ended. Bakugou went second, Kendo dubbed third and Uraraka's team went fourth. Because of that, the next event would be delayed five minutes.

Midnight announced a break time for the students and the crowd. Making most people go to the festival stalls outside.
