Sixth year at Hogwarts was eventful to say the least. A lot had changed and much was happening. Students were focused, trying new things, more people came into the school, and much revolved around Harry Potter again.
Julia Woods, was best friends with Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger. She did almost everything with them ever since they met in 1st year. Julia, a Gryffindor, felt she fit in best expect she wasn't the bravest person, she worried and was scared easily by lots, but tried to not let it show.
When Quidditch tryouts came about, she tried to hide her nerves upon finding that Ron was in fact, trying out for the team. She watched him try, watched him make the team, and oh boy did she panic slightly inside.
She remembers his first game he played, all she could think was what could go wrong but when he looked at her before the game, she smiled and wished him luck, hiding any and all fear.
One morning about a week later, Hermione and Julia were heading to breakfast in the Hall when they heard people whispering about Ron being poisoned and in the hospital wing. Julia, not wanting to find out if it was true or not, wasted not another second and ran in the direction of the hospital wing, Hermione behind her.
The pair found Harry standing over a hospital bed, to which Julia rushed toward, making Harry step back.
"Ron? Ron are you okay?" She spoke softly, placing her hand on his. She felt her heart pound as he moved slightly, his hand latching onto hers.
"Harry cmon" Hermione whispered, leading Harry out of the hospital wing.
Ron's eyes cracked open slightly, looking up at Julia who pulled up a chair next to his bed.
"Merlin I was so worried Ron. I figured you'd left for breakfast and then I heard you were here and I came right away I just panicked I didn't know what to think!"
Ron smiled up at Julia, making her send him a confused looked, "You know you're really cute when you worry so much"
Julia looked at her feet, not sure what to say
"Julia, I like you"
"I like you too"
She leaned down to wrap him in a hug but was surprised when he sat up, meeting her halfway and pressing his lips to hers. Julia didn't hesitate to kiss back, expressing just as much emotion as he did.
