"Merlin how long has it been since you slept?"
That, was the absolute last thing you wanted to hear when sitting down in the hall that morning.
"Um, I don't know why" You replied
"Well you look like you haven't in years!" they exclaimed, making you roll your eyes
"Thanks for telling everyone Ron!"
The boy suddenly looked down at his food, mumbling an apology to which you just pushed food around.
"It's fine, sorry for yelling" You replied, running a hand through your hair
"Why haven't you slept?" Ginny asked, making you jump as you hadn't seen her at first
"All the tests coming up, plus I'm behind in a class with my practice"
She nodded, looking deep in thought before smiling, "Ron could help you, Hermione was my suggestion but I know she's busy and Ron helps me study sometimes! He's useful"
"Oh I don't wanna-"
"I can help you Y/n, common room later tonight?"
You nodded in thanks to the boy, laughing slightly as he stuffed food into his mouth.
Just as promised, Ron met you in the common room that evening. Most students were in their rooms or relaxing, so you were both able to work without worry of distraction. You set your books and papers on the table, eyes widening with you realized just how much you needed to review for your tests and practice.
"Ready?" Ron asked, silently eyeing your workload upon the table.
"Yeah I suppose, are you?"
He smiled at you, reaching for a book.
"Let's start, how much of this would you say you know?"
"Um" you thought for a moment, "Maybe half"
He nodded, flipping some of the pages, and quizing you on some of the material, he checked the answers at least 5 times to make sure he knew it before asking you the question.
That was how the rest of the evening went, you were able to review a lot for your tests that would be happening tomorrow and the next day, as well as get caught up for the class you were falling behind in. You felt guilty realizing just how late it was after packing up your things.
"Thank you Ron, really, I'm sorry for keeping you up this late"
"Hey, anything for you Y/n"
And with that, you leaned down kissing his cheek before saying goodnight and going up to your room.
