You sat awake in the early morning, thoughts and dreams surrounding you as you looked out your window from your bed. Another unsuccessful night of trying.
It's been months, months of trying to get there, trying to reach out, trying, trying, trying. But each time, you never made it. You came close, maybe once or twice, but that was the furthest you've gotten.
You sighed deeply, leaving your bed as the sun rose, walking into your bathroom to change, before going to your kitchen to eat. Rubbing your eyes, you searched and made yourself breakfast.
Just try again tonight.

You would speak to yourself in your head, trying to think of how to reach your destination.
You sat in front of your computer about an hour later, doing school, classes and then home work followed by more as each teacher piled it on. You worked through your lunch period, snacking on something as you worked in order to finish things quicker. At the end of the school day, you closed your computer, stepping away for a few minutes to relax before sitting down again, straight back to work.
As evening approached, you had dinner, finished as much homework as you had the strength for before quitting for the night. You felt bad for quitting, you knew you needed to finish the assignments.
You got changed for bed, set up anything you needed, and then lied down, following the same method as before.
