Julia Malfoy. Best friends with Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley.
Now, a Malfoy? With them? Yes! They were indeed the bestest of friends, despite her brother hating it, which only made her enjoy the friendships more.
Julia sat in the Gryffindor common room one early morning, flipping through the pages of a book. She had received yet another letter from her parents about how she needs to stay away from her so called friends and hang out with her brother Draco more often. She, of course, didn't bother with the letter and instead chose to argue with Draco again outside the Slytherin dorms about why he was so involved in her life.
"Hi Julia"
Hermione greeted as she sat down near the girl, looking at the book she had.
"Hi Hermione"
Ron and Harry bounded down the stairs moments later, Ron running over to the girl and kissing her cheek before sitting next to her.
"Well hello to you too"
He smiled at the girl as conversation broke out about the upcoming Yule Ball. Julia was going with Ron as he asked her the moment it was announced.
Julia hid a lot from her parents, but her relationship with Ron had been there biggest secret, but if she was able to keep it hidden for almost three years, why can't she keep it hidden at a ball?

Julia sat down in front of the mirror in her room, brushing out her blonde hair, it was a bit short so she didn't have many ideas on how to do it, but decided a small amount of curls would work. Hermione was in the bathroom changing into her dress, switching places with the Malfoy girl as she finished (but not before Julia gave the girl a compliment)

"Wow"
Julia gasped as she walked down the stairs into the ballroom, it was absolutely magical.
"You look- beautiful"
Ron spoke as he came up to the girl, bringing her hand up to his lips. She smiled at the boy, thanking him.
"You clean up nice Ron"
The couple walked over to Harry and Hermione and the four of them began to just dance around with one another, enjoying their evening.
A slow song had come up, making Harry and Hermione go and sit down for a bit.
"May I have this dance?"
Ron asked and dramatically bowed
"You may" she giggled, taking his hand and leading him to an open spot.
The two happily danced among everyone else, they focus on one another. Julia felt her heart swell as she gazed into Ron's eyes. She felt the happiest she's ever felt there in his arms. He twirled her again, his eyes full of love.
Draco, who had been scanning the crowd, spotted the happy couple and immediately became disgusted. He marched over to them, pulling them apart.
"What are you doing with Weasel-Bee?"
Draco questioned,
"Dancing, what does it look like?"
Julia spoke, matching her brothers glare. Her and Draco began to argue, gaining an amount of unwanted attention.
"I'm happy dating Ron and being friends with them Draco!"
Draco looked incredibly offended by that statement.
"Blood-Traitor" he spoke harshly,
As soon as those words were uttered, Ron had swung his fist, hitting Draco square in the nose. As a fight broke out between them, Julia ran out, running all the way back to her dorm without looking back.

Almost an hour later, Ron had returned to the common room after getting patched up. Draco was still being tended too so Ron was dismissed.
Julia looked up as she saw him approaching, immediately stepping away from Hermione and Harry and rushing to Ron's side. The two left the couple alone to give them some time.
"Ron, are you alright?"
"Yeah, nothing I can't handle"
"You do know you're bleeding right?"
The boy touched his face, noticing how blood was slightly coming from his cheek, he shrugged him off as nothing, turning back to the girl.
"Thank you" Julia spoke, smiling slightly as the boy wrapped his arms around her.
He leaned in for a kiss, the girl meeting him halfway, and that was when she knew she made the right decision on choosing Ron.
