Olivia

As I woke up, I realised Luke had stayed the night. I moved my body and stared at his face. His lip had stopped swelling and the bruises were turning more purple. Yet I found him adorable and he looked peaceful. I felt bad if I woke him up. I tried to close my eyes but then my Dad walked in. Oh no.

"OLIVIA MOORE. WHAT IS LUKE ANDERSON DOING IN YOUR BED!"

"Dad! He stayed the night. He got hurt really bad. Look at him. We fell asleep while watching an old Robert Pattinson movie. AND have you heard of knocking?"

Luke suddenly opened his eyes (well the best he could) and sat up to see my Dad.

"Oh my God. Mr Moore. I - I had no idea what happened We were watching some movie and I fell asleep. I'm so sorry I'll leave now-" Luke said while trying to get out of bed as quick as possible. Which wasn't really possible because he was so stiff. It was quite amusing trying to see him move but I knew he was in pain. My dad then uttered,

"Whatever Luke. But if you break her heart you will look a lot worse. Get ready, I'll take you two in!" He chuckled and closed my door behind him.

"I'm so sorry about him. He is really annoying and is so invasive. I swear he has never knocked on my door he always barges in. You don't have to come to school if you don't want to." I said while staring into his gorgeous hazel eyes. His eyes were heavily bloodshot. He can't go into school looking like this. My dad was delusional, thinking it was okay for us to go in after a night like that. The guy that did this will probably be lurking around the halls staring at the destruction he had caused. I hope he is in more pain than Luke though. Is that bad to wish pain on someone you don't even know? Probably, but he still hadn't told me who did this to him. I needed to know. I hated not knowing.

"Hey, don't worry Liv. At least your family cares. And I'll be fine, they are painful in a cool sort of way" He joked and fell back onto the pillows.

"Okay, are you quoting Harry Styles now? Painful in a cool way? You thought you could slip that past me." I gave him a stare filled with utter disgust as he tried to slip that past me.

"Totally didn't haha. You don't miss a thing." He said while bopping my nose with his index finger. The butterflies and feelings started to grow in my stomach and brain. Was what Luke said last night true? That he has always loved me. I don't know if it was a drunken thought to make me feel guilty about that awful kiss. You never know it, Luke. I didn't want to interrogate him too much because I know he will get angry at me. He just hated questions. Questions were like a fear he had. A strange fear. After his Mom died his stepmother, Elizabeth bombarded him with questions about any little thing. And she expected him to know every answer to every question in the 7th grade. Is she okay? We were literally 12. I got out of bed and ran around to Luke side to help him up. He stared at me and uttered,

"I am okay, you know. Just a little stiff." He said this while holding his rib in agony.

"Are you sure? I just care about you. A lot. But you already knew that. Please be careful."

"Liv. I'm walking to the bathroom; I don't think I'm going to break my neck." He chuckled and I shook my head while laughing.

"You never know with you," I shouted as he walked into my bathroom and locked the door behind him. I heard the shower start and the water dripping down him. I grabbed my phone and saw I had 58 missed calls off Erin. And that was just off this morning. God this can't be good. I dialled her number back and before the first dial tone she answered and screamed,

"OH MY GOD LIV. FINALLY. I just wanted to check in after last night. I know I would see you in like an hour, but I couldn't wait. Why didn't you pick up straight away?
