Nate-

I'd been working odd jobs all summer, just for this baby right in front of me. A motorcycle. I ran my fingers lovingly along its shiny, bright red paint. I sat on the seat and revved the engine, loving the sound of its roar.

School was starting next week, and I can't wait to show this baby off! I couldn't find it in me to give two shits about the homework I hadn't bothered to do though. Oh well, the teachers will just have to deal with it.

I revved the engine once more and sped off. Holy shit! This is amazing!

I hadn't bothered with a helmet cos I'm reckless like that. Deal with it.

I loved the way the wind rustled through my black hair. I whooped out loud, causing pedestrians to cast me odd glances. I don't care, I just don't give a damn about anything.

This baby is mine!

Once I reached home from the motorcycle workshop and parked my new baby, I went straight up to my room and pounced onto my bed. I felt so satisfied with myself.

My parents were rarely home. They were always busy with work. I'm kind of surprised they even remembered they had a son at all. Well, at least they give me allowance... I wonder- Suddenly, my phone rang, cutting off my train of thoughts.

'Chelsea Smile' from Bring Me The Horizon blasted from my phone. And in case you haven't guessed yet, I was a big fan of Bring Me The Horizon.

I sighed lazily and answered. "Hello? whataya want?" I grumbled sleepily, not having once glanced at the caller ID.

"Nate baby? Why do you sound so rude today?" Trina, my fling of the week asked, annoyed at my tone.

"Nah, just sleepy" I replied.

"Okay, listen. I wanted to talk to you about something important."

Straight to the point. "What's up?" I asked.

"So when are you asking me to be your girlfriend?" She asked, sounding hopeful.Whoa whoa whoa.

"Who said anything about any form of commitment?" I asked, coldness lacing through my words.

"Well, we have been going out for a few days now, so-"

I cut her off. "Listen Tina, from now on, I don't want any form of contact from you." I said, nonchalantly as if talking about the weather.

"First of all, its Trina. Second of all, What?!"

"Whatever", I had better things to do than talk to this clingy Tina girl. I hung up on her and switched off my phone. I had enough experience to know that they always call back.

Girls were so particular about their names... Which was why I mess their names up on purpose!

Time to look for my next fling. I'll start tomorrow at the bar. I'm too sleepy right now.

Welcome to my life as Nate, the player.
