Nate-
Dandelion had a minor concussion and a broken hand.
She had fell and hit her head, and had accidentally broken 3 fingers since she landed on them when she fell.
"She'll come to when She's ready, Nate. Don't worry." Crystal said. Crystal had been nice to me these past two days, and I was not used to it.
It creeped me out.
"Thanks" I muttered. We were both sitting by Dandelion's bed, waiting for her to wake up.
"I think you're good for her, you know." Crystal suddenly said. I glanced at her curiously.
"Why would you think that? Thought you hated me." I pointed out.
"You're right, I don't like you." she stated.
Ouch. Well, lots of people didn't like me anyways.
"But I can't be biased when it comes to my best friend. I can't deny that you've helped her. I can't overlook the fact that you've made her smile." Crystal mumbled.
I gave her a small, grateful smile.
"Thanks."
"But I still don't like you, and I swear that I'll cut your dick off if you ever hurt her." she threatened in a low, menacing tone.
Someone chuckled.
"Dandelion? You're awake!" Crystal chirped happily, her demeanor switching over instantly. This girl was really scaring me...
"You're the bestest, best friend I can ever have, Crystal." Dandelion croaked.
I handed her a glass of water as Crystal smiled at her gently and helped her sit up.
"What are you waiting for? Get the doctor!" Crystal ordered.
Bossy bitch.
Dandelion-
I woke up to hear my best friend threatening Nate.
Which I found pretty funny.
Nate then left then room, sulking and muttering under his breath, as Crystal shot me a triumphant smirk.
"He is so whipped by you." she mumbled under her breath.
What? Whipped? Him? Me?
She must've not meant for me to hear it as she hurriedly masked it up.
"It's nothing...so how are you feeling? Headache? Throbbing anywhere? Dizziness?" she quiried.
I rolled my eyes. She was back to being the overconcerned Crystal.
Then there was a knock on the door.
Thinking it was Nate and the doctor, I glanced over and yelled "come in!"
Instead of a bored-looking Nate and a pokerfaced doctor like I expected, it was Apple.
I stiffened, and Apple's small smile faltered a little as she noticed.
"H-Hey... How are you doing?" she asked softly.
I glanced away from her and stared out the window as I sighed.
"I'm fine... thanks for asking."
I didn't know why I was being mean to her. Perhaps because she was the reason Crystal and I grew apart.
"I came to tell you that... I'm sorry for whatever I've done, and that I'm moving away to Germany. So I'm also here to bid my farewells." Apple murmured shyly while moving slowly towards us.
I felt bad.
She didn't do anything intentionally to break Crystal and I apart anyways. It was not her fault.
"No, I'm sorry." I said finally, gazing back at her evenly.
"I'm sorry for being mean to you for no apparent reason, and... well, it wasn't your fault. Good luck, though. Have a... good journey. Bon voyage." I said, my tone turning awkward towards the end.
Apple's smile grew wider as she hugged Crystal and I.
"I hope you'll get through this, Dandelion. Fight this like you've never had! I'm going to miss you two so much!" she chirped, tearing up a little.
I patted her back softly before pulling away awkwardly.
"We'll miss you too, Apple. Send us postcards while you're at Germany will you?" Crystal asked jokingly.

"We understand that you have your personal reasons against going for the surgery, but your tumor is getting worse, Ms. Johnson. Chemotherapy isn't going to do anything more than slowing it's growth down a little." Dr. Gray said.
Another doctor was assigned to me, and once again, he was getting tired of trying to convince me.
The dream of grams telling me to go for the surgery seemed... like a dream. Maybe it wasn't her spirit telling me what to do afterall. I could die because of some stupid dream and not have any more time with my family and friends.
"No, give me more time to decide, please" I replied softly.
"You don't have much of that anymore, Ms. Johnson. Make up your mind as soon as possible." Dr. Gray said harshly before hurrying off to serve other patients. Ouch.
Asshole could've been less blunt about it...
"Hey". Came a nervous voice.
Nate.
"Hey..." I replied lamely.
"So you going for the surgery?" He asked curiously.
"Nope".
Nate then sat down beside me on the bed.
"I support you in every decision you make, Dandy. I'll follow you to the very end." he said firmly, eyes gazing confidently into my dull, amber ones. Lifeless, just like how I felt inside. Tired.
"I'm here for you." he continued, holding my hand.
I didn't know why, but I felt much safer and more determined to fight my disease. Maybe it was just borrowed willpower, but I'm still glad.
I didn't even move away when Nate leaned in, inching closer to my face...
And his lips finally touched mine.
It started out slow, steady, but it rapidly built up into something more passionate; hungry.
I bit lightly into his upper lip as he sucked onto my lower lip.
His tongue was just tracing onto my bottom lip when someone burst into the room.
"Hey, Dande- oh." Crystal started loud, but ended soft.
There was a moment of awkwardness as Nate and I shot away from each other like repelling magnets against each other.
"Well, this is awkward." Crystal muttered while glaring at Nate murderously.
