Chapter 10

Y/n's perspective:

When I wake up I notice that I am not in the place I fell asleep. I am in my own room in my apartment. I look down and see that I am in a maroon nightgown, which means someone changed and moved me while I was asleep. It was probably Phantom. I get up and look in my closet to get changed and I see that the dress I was wearing last night has been cleaned and hung back up.

I don't have work today so I get dressed into a black sweatshirt and grey ripped jeans. I walk over to my bed stand and look at my phone for the first time this morning. I see a text from Phantom.

P- Good morning beautiful. Thank you for the amazing night last night. We must do it again soon.

I smile as I text back.

Y- Good morning. I had fun too. I have to ask what happened last night after I fell asleep?

P- You fell asleep and I took you home and made you as comfortable as I could.

Y- Oh thank you that was very sweet of you.

I have a huge blush on my face as I type out that text.

P- Of course anything for my doll.

He quickly sends another text after that.

P- What's your work schedule like for this week?

I smile excited for what he has in mind.

Y- Why do you ask?

P- I was hoping to have you over. Maybe even stay the night?

I squeal quietly in happiness.

Y- I have Tuesday off if that works for you

P- That works with me I'll see you Monday night then.

I stop for a second. 'Monday night what does he mean?'

Y- Phantom what do you mean by Monday night?

P- come over Monday night, stay the night, and spend Tuesday with me

Y- Ah makes sense. Well, I can't wait.

~time skip~

It was Monday night. Work went by slowly because I was so excited about tonight. I think Phantom has finally won over Abby because she was excited about me going over to his place.

I was talking with Abby on our couch when there was a knock at the door. I got up with my bag and opened it. Phantom smiles and kisses me deeply when he sees me. I say bye to Abby and we head out excited about tonight.

When we get to his car his driver takes my bag and puts it in the trunk and opens the door for Phantom and me. We both get in and I soon feel the limo drive away.

Phantom pulls me into his lap and I snuggle in close. He starts speaking soon after, "doll I need to tell you something." I perk my head up and look at him. He continues, "as I'm sure you can tell, I and extremely wealthy. While my bars do give me lots of money, I must admit that I am a king."

I am taken aback. That was not at all what I was expecting him to say when he said he had to tell me something. I have to ask because I'm curious, "what are you king of?" He smiles and pets my hair. "The underground. Mainly the dead." I nod and just look at his chest uncertain of what to think. I'm dating the king of the dead?

He looks at me concerned, "Is everything ok?" I look at him shyly, "yeah I just don't know what to think". He nods and holds me close. It felt comforting. He may be the king of the dead but I do love him so maybe it didn't matter. "You'll get used to it. I'll spoil you every day and I hope to make you the queen one day." I nod, "please just let me have time to process that and I don't have to get forced into anything". He nods and softly kisses me. It felt amazing.

I pull away and look to the seat next to us. Phantom pushes my hair out of my face. I just keep thinking about what he is and what this means for me. He still looks at me concerned, "are you sure everything's ok?". I look back at him, "yeah I am just thinking about what this means for me." Phantom smiles, "you'll love our life, my love. I promise." I nod and I feel the limo stop. Phantom smiles, "we're here." We got out and I saw a huge black castle that was absolutely beautiful.
