Phantom's Girlfriend (Natewantstobattle x reader)

Chapter 22

Phantoms perspective:

I left my doll sleeping like the little angel that she is. I sat down in my throne room and threw everyone out. I wanted to be alone to think. I pull out the necklace box from my vest pocket. I bought it a few weeks ago. Now feels like the best time to finally give it to her. I've planned a ball for tomorrow evening.

I keep sitting there staring and thinking. After about a minute I get a text from my little doll and head back to our room.

Y/n's perspective:

I had woken up from a nightmare and freaked out when Phantom wasn't there with me anymore. I sent him a text and went to the bathroom to splash some water on my face. Phantom comes in a few minutes later while I'm still in the bathroom and rushes in to hug me.

I hug him back and relax into his soft warm touch. "Are you ok doll? What happened?" He asks very concernedly. I snuggle more into him.

"I just had a nightmare. Everything's ok." He nods and kisses my shoulder.

"Well, I'm here now. Do you want to sleep or cuddle?"

I look over at the bathtub and smile. "Can we have a bath?" I ask. He smiles and with a snap of his fingers we are both undressed and the tub is filled and there are white flower petals in it.

Phantom picks me up and gets in with me. It's so warm and I snuggle into him feeling sleepy. He kisses my cheek "you can fall asleep if you want. I'll take care of you." I nod sleepily get comfy.

Phantoms perspective:

My doll eventually falls asleep in my arms. I finish cleaning her and carefully dry her off. I dress her in a soft white robe and lay her in our bed.

I start to feel my other side slip in. I'm sure my eyes are bright red and my skin is turning black around my eyes. Against my better judgment, I lean down and kiss her. I want her but I can't have her the way I want her. Not yet at least...

I restrain myself from doing anything else and go to the table in our room and do some work to distract myself until my love wakes up.
