Chapter 30

Y/n's perspective:

I tried on all of the different styles of wedding dresses that she had and now all I had to decide between a princess style and a mermaid style. They were mine and Phantom's favorite out of all of the ones that I tried on. After that, we had a nice lunch while talking about wedding stuff. During all of this I kept thinking about the immortality injection. The more I think about it the sooner I want to do it soon so we can be over this road bump in our life.

Now on our walk seemed like a good chance to talk to him about it. "Hey Phantom, I was thinking more about the procedure."

He glances at me "And? Have you decided on when you want to do it yet?"

I nod "I think I want to do it soon just to be done with it. That way we can have a blissful life after we marry."

He smiles "that's what I was hoping you would say. When we get back from the walk I can go to the doctors and see when it can be made."

I blush slightly "good. I'm a little scared but I know it will be worth it."

"It will be doll. It absolutely will be."

We stop in our tracks and Phantom twirls me into his arms and kisses me gently. It's a romantic gesture and I melt into his arms. We pull away a few seconds later and I can see Aleck staring at us which makes me feel a bit awkward. I advert my gaze back to Phantom who is starting to kiss my neck softly. Still feeling a bit awkward, I whisper into his ear "let's go back to our room".

He nods and we head back into the castle. When we enter he leaves me to go to the infirmary leaving me and Aleck alone. I still feel a bit nervous around him so I look down and start heading to Phantom and I's room. He follows about three steps behind me.

Once I enter my room I hear him settle into a stance outside the room. I laid down on Phantom's side of the bed feeling his smell surrounding me. It's relaxing and I almost fall asleep when the door opens again and Phantom comes in.

"Good news doll that can have it done tonight so we can do it tonight if you want."

I'm surprised and taken aback, "oh that's good."

He looks at me concerned and sits down on the bed next to me, "what's wrong?"

"I'm just scared. I'd never thought about being immortal until you came into my life. I just don't know what to think."

He nods understandingly, "that's an understandable fear, my princess. I promise to give you an amazing immortal life. And while you are asleep and changing I will never leave the room and take care of you as long as you are recovering. I really really love you doll and I want to give you the best life anyone can."

I nod and think for a few minutes feeling tears roll down my cheeks which were all wiped away by Phantom's loving thumb. I take a deep breath in "you promise not to leave while I'm asleep?"

"Of course, doll. I promise."

I look up at him "let's do it then."

He nods and pulls out his phone and steps away and makes a phone call in another language. While on his call I just watched him longingly wondering if I'd made the right decision. He finishes the call and comes to sit down again.

"Well, we have five hours what do you want to do?"

Without a word I just reach my hands out to him. He understands and pulls me into his lap and starts rubbing my back and kissing my head. "Snuggles huh?"

I nod and deeply snuggle my head into his neck. He chuckles and kisses my head softly. "It'll be ok, baby doll. I promise."

"I know I just want you right now since I can't snuggle you tomorrow and I'll be in pain for a while so it's not going to be the same during that time."

"Well, you can have me right now and forever baby. Anytime I'm in the castle, even while I'm working, you can have me in any way you need." I feel a tear fall again as he says that. He wipes it and kisses my nose. "I love you doll."

I smile a bit "I love you too."
