Phantom's Girlfriend (Natewantstobattle x reader)

Chapter 34

Y/n's perspective:

Phantom and I stand outside on our balcony holding each other unwilling to let go. Tomorrow is the wedding and per tradition, we have decided to not see each other before I walk down the aisle. Unfortunately, that includes sleeping separately tonight, so we were trying to say our goodbyes till the wedding tomorrow. However, neither of us actually wanted to leave the other. Every time he tried to leave we'd get so caught up in kissing each other that he couldn't bring himself to actually leave.

Abby was spending the night with me tonight and is waiting for me back in our room waiting for us to say our goodbyes, she might be waiting a while. Phantom was going to be spending the night in one of the guest bedrooms in the castle. He wanted to be close by but still honor tradition. Aleck was going to be standing by outside tonight as well as being Phantom's best man both because of them being old friends, that's why he was my bodyguard in the first place, and protection just in case Mare decides to attack during the wedding.

"One last kiss and then I'll leave", Phantom whispers to me. I nod and lovingly kiss him, I don't want him to leave but I know he has to. He kisses back and holds me close to him. We pull apart after a minute and step apart from each other. He squeezes my hands one last time, "I'll see you at the wedding, my love".

I nod, "I'll see you at the wedding." Phantom walks off the balcony leaving me there missing his touch. I look down at my engagement ring and smile, I love him so much and I can't believe we are actually getting married tomorrow.

Abby walks out, "you doing ok?"

I nod. "Yeah I'm fine just kinda wishing that this tradition wasn't a thing."

Abby laughs, "that's understandable but unlike the rest of us you actually get to spend eternity with him."

I smile, "very true, I still am going to miss him until I get to see him tomorrow."

She nods in understanding, "well how about some dinner and tv?"

I smile "sounds perfect"

This is just a quick filler chapter since I haven't posted for a bit.  The next chapter will be the final one so give me some time to write it because I want this story to have a perfect ending.  There might be a sequel in the future (I haven't decided yet).  Thank you for all the love you have given this story and I hope you love the ending!
