Quick note, holy fuck guys, 10k reads???? That's amazing! Thank you so much, I appreciate each and every one of you! Okay, on with the episode, sorry for the last chapters cliffhanger and for me missing a weeks upload, but here it is.🖤🖤
My brothers and I were at a motel. I had my bags packed and my brothers still had no idea I was leaving, and, well, I didn't really plan on telling them. I needed to search for what killed my parents, just like they needed to find out what killed Mary.
Trying to leave them was killing me. This was my fifth opportunity to leave. The other four I couldn't bring myself to do it, but I had to. Sam was in the restroom and Dean went out on a supply run. I put down the note I had wrote for the boys on the bed and was about to head out when the door opened and Dean barged in.
"Hey Bean, what's with the backpack?" He asked as he put down the bags he held.
"Um, I was just, I didn't-" but my stuttering was cut off by Sam.
"You're leaving?" He asked with a break in his voice.
I turned around to see Sam with my note in his hand.
"Boys, I have to find what killed my parents, just like your trying to find what killed Mary!" I explained secretly hoping they would make me stay. I don't think I could honestly last a day without them. Not because I'm not the best hunter in the world, because I am, but because they're my brothers, they're the highlights of my day.
"Babe, please, no, you can't, you can't leave us, you're the only beam of light he have in our lives." Dean begged as tears started to fall down his cheeks.
"Boys, don't do this, I have to-" I started as tears brimmed my eyes.
"Sweetpea, please, you can't leave us, we need you, you're the only thing that makes us smile when it feels impossible." Sam explained as I looked over at him. He had tears running as well.
"Okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I don't know what I was thinking, I can't live without my brothers by my side everyday, I'll just continue to research here, with you guys, I need you boys more than you need me." I admitted. I don't know what got into me. I couldn't live without my brothers.
They were the only family I had left, I couldn't leave them just so I could find what killed my other family. That was stupid. I needed Sam and Dean.
They both engulfed me in a tight, sandwich of a hug. I was held about a foot off the ground as they hugged me tightly.
"Please, never do that to us again Bean, never, you might as well have just killed us if you left." Dean told me as he sniffled.
"I'm so sorry boys, you're stuck with me." I whispered with my eyes shut as the tears still fell.
"Forever?" They asked me in unison.
"And ever." I replied. I could never leave them. I needed them more than they needed me, they just didn't know that.
After the scare I gave the boys this morning, Dean said he needed a drink. So here we were, in a bar, while Dean tried to pick up some chicks number. I could never leave this. I looked over at Sam covering his ears and reading dad's journal. I could never leave that either. What the hell was I thinking? I would simply find my parents killer in the presence of both my brothers.
I was sitting on a table while some guy was flirting up a storm. I was completely ignoring him, just starring at my brothers with a smile.
"Hey, do I need to be more entertaining here?" He asked as he slapped my thigh softly.
"Yeah a little bit." I smirked.
"Oh really?" He asked with a devilish smile.
"Yeah." I nodded with the same smile.
I was too busy staring at the guy that I didn't notice Dean walking up to us. He quickly pushed the guy away, grabbed my upper arm, and led me over to Sam's table where he was looking at newspapers. Dean held me close to his side as Sam spoke. I'm guessing I really frightened Dean, I don't think he is letting me out of his sight anytime soon.
"All right so I think I got something." Sam declared.
"Me too." Dean and I responded simultaneously, but he looked at the girl he was talking to and I looked at the guy who was still staring at my direction.
"I think we need to take a little short leave for just a little bit huh, I'm so in the door with this one here." Dean admitted pointing to the girl.
"Yes, yes I agree!" I shouted. Both my brothers turned to me.
"Not you." They answered in unison.
"Oh bite me." I rolled my eyes at them.
"So what are we today, are we rock stars, are we army rangers.." but Dean cut of Sam.
"We're L.A. TV scouts looking for people with special skills, but hey it's not that far off, right?" Dean said chuckling.
I shook my head smiling.
"By the way, she's got a friend over there, I can probably hook you up, what do you think?" Dean pointed to a blonde girl.
"Look Dean, uh, no thanks, I can get my own dates."
"Yeah you can but you don't."
At this point I was ignoring my brothers. This guy was undressing me with his eyes.
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing, what do you got?"
Dean wacked the side of my head.
"Pay attention."
I glared at him and turned towards Sammy.
"Mark and Ann Telesca of New Paltz, New York, were both found dead in their home just a few days ago, throats were slit, there were no prints, no murder weapons all-Dean?"
I glanced over at Dean looking back at the girls. Damn hypocrite. I slapped the back of his head as he turned to me pouting.
"No prints, no murder weapons, all doors and windows were locked from the inside." Sam explained.
"Could just be a garden-variety murder, you know, not our department." Dean suggested.
"No, dad says different."
My ears perked at the sound of John. He still hasn't returned my calls, I'm about to give up on him.
"What do you mean?" I asked Sam taking a sip of my bear.
"Dad noted three murders in the same area of upstate New York, first one right here, 1912, the second one in 1945, and the third in 1970, the same M.O. as the Telescas, the throats were slit, the houses were locked from the inside, now so much time passed between the murders, that nobody checked the pattern, except for dad, he always kept his eyes peeled for another one."
"And now we got one." Dean finished.
"Exactly." Sam agreed.
"All right, I'm with you, it's worth checking out, we can't pick this up till first thing though, right?"
"Yeah."
"Good."
And just like that Dean got up from his chair and left back to the girls.
"Dean-"
I rolled my eyes. I looked back over to were my guy was standing before, only to see him talking to a blonde bimbo.
Traitor.
