We were sitting in the Impala outside of the womans house.

"Maybe we can tell them there's a gas leak, might get them out of the house for a few hours." Sam suggested.

"Yeah, and how many times has that actually worked for us?" I asked from the backseat.

"Yeah, could always tell then the truth."

"Nah." The three of us sounded at the same time.

"I know, I know, I just, with what's coming for these people." Sam sighed.

"Sam, we only got one move and you know it, all right, we got to wait for that demon to show itself, and then we get it before it gets them." Dean explained.

"I wonder how dad is doing."

I looked up at my brothers and stayed silent. They knew how I already felt towards John.

"I'd feel a lot better if we were there backing him up." Dean admitted.

"I'd feel a lot better if he were here backing us up."

We looked over to see a man closing their curtains on the bottom floor.

"This is weird." Sam stated after a few second of silence.

"What?" I asked him leaning on the front seat.

I'll honestly admit, now that John wasn't hovering around us, I felt a lot less tension and I was more comfortable, but I knew not having him here worried the boys, so it didn't ease that much.

"After all these years we're finally here, it doesn't seem real."

"We just got to keep our heads and do our job like always." Dean said keeping us in check.

This was the thing that killed my parents. I was finally going to be faced to face with it.

"Yeah, but this isn't like always." Sam smiled.

"True."

"Guys uh, I want to thank you."

"For what?" Dean and I asked in unison.

"For everything, you guys always had my back you know, even when I couldn't count on anyone, I could count on you two, and now, I don't know, I just wanted to let you guys know just incase."

Just incase? Excuse me?

"Woah, woah woah, are you kidding me?" Dean responded sounding annoyed.

"What the hell Sam?" I nodded no with my eyebrows furrowed.

"What?" He asked like nothing was wrong.

"Don't say just incase something happens to you, I don't want to hear that freaking speech man, nobody's dying tonight." Dean finished looking back at me too.

"Not us, not that family, nobody, except that demon, that evil son of a bitch isn't getting any older than tonight, you understand me?" Dean added like he was scolding us.

Sam and I nodded.

Dean had called John yet again hoping for an answer.

"Dad's not answering." He said hanging up the phone.

"Maybe Meg was late, maybe cell reception was bed." Sam hoped.

"Yeah well."

"Boys wait, listen."

The radio started making weird noises. I turned the nobe to try and get something other than static.

Some radio kicked in and then fell back out. The three of us glanced out the window to see it getting real windy.
