I was fast asleep next to Dean when the motel door opened and closed. My eyes shot open and I could tell Dean was awake too, though neither of us made that known. I silently put my hand under my pillow and grabbed my knife. I felt Dean copy my actions. I always say that throwing a knife is faster. Google it. I was about to turn and swing when Sammy appeared at the foot of our bed holding two cups.

"Morning Sunshines."

"What time is it?" Dean groaned turning to look at Sammy.

"It's about 5:45."

"In the morning?" I asked.

"Where does the day go?" Dean questioned finishing my thought. He continued,

"Did you get any sleep last night?"

"Yeah, I grabbed a couple of hours." Sam answered.

"Liar, cause I was up at 3, and you were watching a George Foreman infomercial." I admitted getting up off the bed and dangling my legs over it.

"Hey what can I say, it's riveting TV."

"When was the last time you got a good nights sleep?" Our older brother asked.

"I don't know, a little while, I guess, it's not a big deal."

"Yeah it is."

I just stayed silent and out of my brothers conversation.

"I appreciate your concern."

"I'm not concerned, it's your job to keep Babe safe and my ass alive so I can keep both of you safe, so I need you sharp, seriously are you still having nightmares about Jess?"

Sam sat down in front of us. He handed Dean his coffee and me my hot chocolate.

"Yeah, but it's not just her, it's everything, I just forgot you know, this job, man, it gets to you." Sam admitted.

"You can't let it, you can't bring it home like that." Dean said stating some facts.

"So what, all this, it never keeps you guys up at night."

Me and Dean nodded no as I took a sip of the delicious, hot, drink. He even added marshmallows like I like! I guess he didn't forget about me.

"Really, never, you guys are never afraid?"

"No, not really."

"Nope." Dean and I said simultaneously.

Sam scoffed and leaned over reaching under Dean and I's pillow. He pulled out our knifes and held them both in front of our faces as I nurtured my hot cup.

"That's not fear." I said.

"That's precaution." Dean concluded.

"All right, whatever, I'm too tired to argue."

Suddenly Dean's phone started ringing. Since I was closest I leaned over the bed, grabbed it, and handed it over to him. We all made eye contact wondering who could even have Dean's number, before he flipped it open, and answered it.

"Hello?"

I leaned in to Dean's side to try and hear the conversation he was having with the stranger.

"Dean, it's-a- it's Jerry Panowski."

I leaned away from Dean and looked at him with a shocked expression. How did he get this number? We had helped him with a poltergeist case already. What the hell had happened? Jerry continued as I leaned back towards the phone.

"You, your dad, and little sister helped me out a couple years back."

Yeah I was like, 14.
