today was my first day out without malaya since she was born and i was meeting bella for lunch, malaya was with trents parents abs T was at training. "sooo tell me about you and mason!" i said as i took a sip of my drink. "liv he's amazing" she said and smiled "so is it like official yet?" i asked and she shook her head "you two have defo slept together though yeah?" i asked and she blushed "taking that as a yes" i said laughing "give me some details then" "hun it's incredible" "telling you these footballers just have good stamina" i said and we both burst out laughing
"you really arent kidding" she said as we were both still laughing "how are you and trent with this whole baby thing then, must be a shock to the system" she asked
"i thought it would hit us like a tonne of bricks but weve been absoloutly fine, if anything its made us so much more stronger, i didnt think i could love him anymore but when you see the man you love holding your child that changes everything" i said and she smiled at me
"im so happy for you, you deserve this so much"she said and i thanked her "so his birthday is next week, what you got planned?" she asked me curiously.
"I have booked a log cabin about an hour away for the weekend and got him a couple presents and all that, just thought some time to ourselves would be amazing, his parents have malaya so we dont have to worry about her either"
"oo very fancy, sure you two will have a lot of fun" she said winking at me and i smirked "so i heard that you and your dad still arent talking" she said and i sighed
"no im not, he said things that i cant just forget about, even if he had a problem with me he shouldnt let that impact on his relationship with his granddaughter and thats what pissed me off most" i said and she nodded "who did you hear that off anyways" i asked
"james, i bumped into him the other day, he said your dad is the same way now as when he lost your mum" she said and i was shocked
"bloody hell, well he knows how to fix it so thats down to him, im tired of being the person to put all the effort in with people, i can only try so hard before i get bored of being the only one to try" i said and she nodded in agreement.
we spent the next hour or so just chatting about more random rubbish before we finished up and walked to our cars. we gave eachother a hug goodbye and i began driving to trents parents house when my phone started ringing through the speakers and gareth southgates name flashed across my screen.
