it was currently friday afternoon and me and trent had consisted work early and were on our way to the hospital for our scan.
"right we need to make a decision" i said and trent look confused
"about what babe?"
"they are going to ask if we want to know the gender because i'm far enough along now" i said
"can we please find out? then we can do a little gender reveal for our friends and all" he said with a smile. we both knew that we wanted to tell our families our sleeves but we would do the party for friends.
"ah i'm glad you want to know cause i can't not find out" i said laughing
"what do you want it to be?" he asked me
"honestly T i have no idea, i know what you want though so i would say a girl just to make you happy" i said and he laughed.
we got to the hospital and i walked to the front desk to check us in for the appointment
"good morning lovely, do you have an appointment?" the lady at the desk asked
"hiya, yeah i do my names olivia watson" i said smiling
"aw brill, someone will be out soon to bring you in for your scan" she said and i thanked her before walking over to trent and sitting down.
we sat and waited for around 5 minutes before a sweet looking old lady came through
"olivia watson and trent alexander arnold?" she said loudly and we felt everyone turn and look at us when she yelled trents name.
"scouser in our team" a lad just older than trent yelled from the other side of the room and everyone laughed and clapped.
we walked to the room with the women and i sat down on the bed
"sorry about that" she said laughing
"don't worry about it" trent said smiling
"right so, my name is helen and i'm going to be your midwife throughout from now, i understand you have got a book already?" she said and i nodded
"brill, if you give me that then i can fill it in for you today"
she got me to lift up my top so she could put the gel on and it was just as cold as last time.
trent held my hand whilst she did the scan and turned the screen towards us so we could watch before we heard the heartbreak again.
"ok so since you are far enough along now, would you like to know the gender?" she asked and i looked at trent and we both nodded.
"okay let's have a look then" she said smiling "well congrats it looks like you're going to have a little girl running riot soon" she said and i felt tears roll down my face and i turned to trent and he was wiping his eyes
"happy?" i asked him and he nodded kissing my hand
"i take it that was what everyone wanted then?" helen asked and we both laughed and nodded
"right i'll get those pictures printed for you and fill in your book and then you're free to go" she said smiling.
"do you want to go to your mum and dads after this?" i asked
"i think we should get them something to tell them instead of just telling them, make it special" he said and i agreed
we got what we needed from helen and went home.
we spent most of the evening shopping for baby clothes and looking at ways we could decorate the nursery now we knew that it was a girl.
we also started thinking about names which was funny seeing what trent came up with.
it was now saturday morning and i was just getting out of bed and trent was already out of the house as he went to the shops to get some drinks and crisps as joe, alex, jordan, milli, virg and tyler were all coming to ours before they went out.
i took a shower and decided to wear a pair of black jeans and a pink top with my hair straight, as i was walking down the stairs trent came walking in with his hands filled with tesco bags
"someone's been busy" i said laughing before giving him a quick kiss.
"you look nice" trent said as he put the bags on the counter and i smiled, it was crazy how he still made me feel this way just from a simple compliment.
i started doing some dishes whilst trent sorted some stuff out for the lads to be round in a few hours.
"how long till the boys come?" i said
"about two hours baby" he said and i nodded "that gives us as much time as we want to have a bit of fun" he said as he walked over and placed his hands on my bum
"um i didn't make myself look all nice today just for you and your horny ass to mess it up" i said laughing  and he shook his head
"that's not fair that" he said
"tough luck baby" i said laughing before walking into the living room
i chilled for a while and looked at more stuff for the baby's nursery and ordered a pink baby grow to give to our parents to tell them it was a girl.
time seemed to fly by as before i knew or the doorbell went and the boys were all in the kitchen having pre drinks before they were going to go out.
i stayed out of their way and left them to it as it was a lads night as i couldn't drink with them anyways and after about an hour and a half trent walked in smiling
"i'm off now babes" he said giving me a kiss
"have a good time, love you lots"
"love you more" he said
"don't do anything i wouldn't do!" i yelled before all the lads left the house and piled into a taxi that was waiting outside the house
i ordered myself nandos to the house and had a chilled evening doing dave masks and painting my nails and watching girly films. i stayed up pretty late semi expecting trent to ask me to pick him up but it was 2am and he still hadn't texted me so i sent him a text to ask
