Jay POV

I  sat on a chair next to the hospital bed, where Y/N was cuddling our newborn son.

"He looks so cute!" I said, smiling down at Y/N and the baby.

"Yeah he is. I wouldn't be surprised, his papa is also cute." Y/N said as I smiled like an idiot.

I really wanted to hold him in my arms but I was scared. What if he cried or something? Y/N must have seen the look in my eyes.

"Don't you want to hold him Jay?" she asked me.

"Y-yeah but I'm afraid that he won't like it when I hold him." I said nervously, looking at my son, who looked comfortable in Y/N's hold. She chuckled weakly.

"Jay, you will have to hold him sometime. Plus, I'm a bit tired. I need some sleep." she said wearily.

"Ok. So how do I hold him?" I asked as I stood up and came closer to the bed.

"Hold him like this and make sure to support his head." Y/N said as she showed me the way to hold the baby.

I took the baby from Y/N. He whimpered from the loss of warmth of Y/N but quickly snuggled down to my chest as I held him. 

"Jay, unbutton the top buttons of your shirt. He needs to feel skin contact with his father." Y/N told me. I unbuttoned the top buttons and the baby snuggled even closer to my chest, feeling the warmth. The baby gives a little yawn as he falls asleep in my embrace.

"See, you're a natural." Y/N says as she smiles at me.

After a few moments... 

Y/N has fallen asleep. She was really tired from giving birth. The baby was also sleeping peacefully in my embrace. I tried to set him in the crib that was in the room, but he started to whimper. Not wanting him to cry, I still held him, as I sat on a couch near the crib, watching him with adoration.

"I love you baby. You're my world now." I said to the sleeping baby as I kissed his forehead lightly.
