I am the way out

I wake up and look around, I'm laying in a hammock that still stay and I get up to look around, looking over toward the entrance i see Gally talking to the remaining boys he looks angry and frustrated, I then glance over towards the pit and see the top of Minho's gelled hair, so I get up and walk towards the pit, nobody seeming to notice I'm awake.

"Gally's taken over" I hear newt claim to Thomas and Teresa who are in the pit.

"What the shuck is going on here" I question leaning down and looking at Thomas and Teresa . Teresa gives me a stare but I ignore her and face Minho.

"Gally wants to sacrifice Thomas and Teresa, he thinks it will stop the grievers" newt replies sighing.

"Nope, that's not happening, who does he think he is! Look, me and Teresa may not be on the same level- or whatever but nobody is being sacrificed" I shout stomping over towards Gally who notices and a hint of fear in his face is noticed while I trudge over if I were a cartoon smoke would be realising from my ears.

I stomp over and walk through the crowd of boys pushing past them angrily before walking up to Gally and slapping him hard round the face his face sharply hitting to the side, as he puts his hand up to his cheek in shock.

"What the shuck y/n" Gally shouts confused at my angry expression.

"Nobody is being sacrificed Gally, I'm making sure of that, what makes you think you have charge over these boys?" I scream gesturing to the boys who are watching.

"I didn't see you helping" Gally shouts back arguing with me making me even more angry, I suppose the dead Griever across the field doesn't reach the expectations of helping.

"I'm going in the maze and finding a way, so you can stay here and die or come with me and live" I shout to all the boys and Gally steps infront of me annoyed.

"No you are not" Gally grabs my wrists and I push him away, he lands on his butt and looks at me embarrassed.

"I care about you but NEVER tell me what I can and can't do Gally" I shout at him watching his on face change realising how hard he grabbed my wrist and glancing at me pull my sleeve down further.

I run over to newt,Chuck,Minho,Thomas and Theresa, I get to the pit door and kick the lock, the lock opening up and me opening the door.

"I am getting out you coming?" I question holding a hand out for Thomas, just glaring at Teresa.

Thomas doesn't say anything just grabs my hand and jumps out then gives a hand to Teresa and i chuckle before walking away everyone following me.

Gally and some of the boys are arguing about what is right and I just continue walking, nobody dares to stop me and most of the boys just follow me into the maze and we make our way to enclosed section I knew as home.

"Follow behind me or Minho we are the only people who have been here" I shout and everybody nods, Minho catching up to walk beside me.

"You didn't even say goodbye to gally?" Minho questions slightly sympathetic knowing I might feel bad for not.

"He didn't deserve it Minho, he couldn't see what was right" I just mumble my face emotionless as we all continue to walk.

It seems no grievers are in sight and i carry on walking I trip on something a look done to see a leaver, me and Minho both exchange glances and I pull it round to the other side, we hear a grumble and a beeping begins in my ear, however when I look at the boys it seems I'm the only one to hear it so I keep walking further and further until the beeping stops and we are at the door of The Safe Haven- X2.

"In here" Minho shouts and we all hold up weapons with worried looks when we turn the corner and look through the door I see the door behind the vines open, but inside is pure darkness.

"It's open" I mumble and walk over intrigued.

I walk slowly pulling the vines to look inside the door, only to step forwards into the darkness and slip down a metal slide, it was old and the room below was dark, a small blue light appearing at another door, I was underground.

"IM ALIVE!" I shout up to the boys and I hear there sigh of relief.

Then before I can even move any further I hear the screening of Minho coming down the drop slide, bumping into me at the bottom and us both laughing.

"Everything ok?" I hear newt shout, the shout echoing the room.

"It's safe you can all come down, it's actually quite fun" I shout giggling and jumping up to move out the way, Minho jumping up to.

Then we hear screams, boys shouting and horror erupting, me and Minho exchange worried look before we see some people sliding back down.

"Where are the others?" I question worried looking at Chuck,Winston,Thomas,Teresa,frypan  and Newt.

Most of them look down and I sigh sadly.

"There dead. No No No that wasn't supposed to happen! That's not how it was meant to go!! I saved you guys I was supposed to save EVERYONE!" I begin to be enveloped in sadness for it all itching my arm as a sudden emotion full day begins, 372 moons after trying the best things and they die. The sound of a mechanical wire zapping sends me back into my senses and the once open door shuts from the maze making me try to climb up the slippery metal only making it halfway as I try to climb up.

I feel two hands grab my waist pulling me down away from the slide and whispering into my ear, telling me it's okay and I turn my head to see the familiar face of Minho looking at me just as scared and upset.

Nodding with a sad smile before turning around and walking towards a slightly open door revealing a long LED lit hallway, showing whites and blues.

"Are we out?" Thomas questions looking around.

"I think we are" I pause and look to my side to see a room, inside two metal beds and serums in tubes beside.

I wonder, and walk into the lab I look on the table to see what looks like a body covered in a white thin cloth and turn around to see the boys, they are all looking confused but I pull it over and see myself, I have dark black veins throughout my body and it looks as if I was shut between the eyes and black blood coming from my nose and mouth.

Then my body shocks, every limb falling down and I'm in a black room I look around a fall, falling down the dark whole was nothing but fragments of pictures of all the glader boys until i hear a faint shouting.

"Wake up, it's ok, you're okay" the sound of Newts voice ringing in my ears and then I jolt up.

The blackness completely shutting off and me looking around the medwing room my eyes slowly adjusting.

"Wait, how long was I asleep?" I question looking round scared.

"Why don't you start by telling us what the bloody hell was going on with you and Teresa" Newt asks crossing his arms and looking at me.

Was that all just a dream, maybe I really am the way out, maybe I can save everyone after all.
