Zahra's POV
This night was not going at all like I had intended. I turned my wrist to check the time and it was only half an hour to nine but everyone in this godforsaken bus was too 'lit'. Tequila bottles, alcoholic spritzers, and empty containers of appetizers were scattered about without care giving the bus a filthy aura.

The party of at least 10 girls were shaking it to some up and coming rapper -from Texas I think- that made the word 'bitch' sound like the American dream. I couldn't find it in me to sway with them but a small part of my conscious wished I would, wished I'd get out of my comfort zone.

A dream

I blinked away from the blinding neon lights that were rising with the crescendo of the lyrics as I tried to find where the hell Legacy had gone to . But of course, that was when the girl next to me once again decided to burst into tears as she had been doing on and off the entire ride.

Lauren I think it was? I took in her disarrayed natural hair that looked like it had been ran through many times before we even picked her up and tear stricken face. Her eyes were puffier than ever and her Cupid's bow was trembling incessantly as the tears continued to pour down to her chest.

I wanted to comfort her - I really did- but this was not my area of expertise as I'd never had a serious relationship in my life. What do you say to something you have never experienced?

When we had picked her up from the country club earlier she had been in a heated argument with a brooding guy that seemed to be getting angrier by the second. Legacy, even in her drunken state, was able to recognize her friend and direct the driver to scoop her as well.

Of course the guy she was with started to argue Legacy down about letting her go but this girl Lauren had a backbone and told him if he tried to stop her it would be the end of them for real. I have to admit, he sort of looked broken after that and watched us drive away with Lauren in tow, almost regretfully.

"It's just... I was hypothetically telling him I might be pregnant to see ... what he'd think and he flipped out! What do I say ... now that he told me ... he doesn't want them?" The girl wailed , looking down at pudgy stomach.  "But I've been pregnant this whole time! This stupid waist trainer I've gotten on hasn't even worked! " she was gurgling now in between words.

My eyes widened as I realized what she had meant. Not only was a fetus in there and things with her  man had went south tonight quick- her stomach looked bloated instead of flat like a waist trainer should. She definitely should've gone with the big t-shirt combo and shape wear if you ask me.

 Poor girl

She cradled her pudge as she looked back up to me but I was still frozen. Pregnant? Not to be judgmental but Legacy said this is a girl she grew up with the same judgmental family as her's. A girl that also moved to America with money for the promise of opportunity and the chance to acquire more riches.

"I'm already eighteen weeks, I had to go to a doctor outside the city that has never even heard of Bancroft  Barometrics." she sniffed and looked around the bus at the other girls too drunk to voice an opinion or at the very least offer support. However, I wasn't so I should at least try.

I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and gently squeezed. "If you're really going to be somebody's mom, why did you get on this bus with us? This isn't the safest place for you to process your thoughts and a little too rowdy for your  delicate state don't you think? Maybe we can bring you back to your place so you have time to decide what to say next time you see him." I meant what I said and I could tell she was letting it sink in somewhat.
