Rolling over as her annoying alarm sounded off to wake her from her deep slumber Nicki turned it off .
The weekend just seemed to go by fast, and in Nicki's case too fast .
She got on the out of her king size , stretched , yawned and off to the bathroom she went to do her morning routine.
Not too much later , dressed and ready to go Nicki jumped in her Range and headed towards her usual coffee spot. Since time was on her side today she beat the mad areas of terrible traffic and was making great time .
Approximately 15 minutes later she'd gotten her caffeinated drink and was driving on her route to her place of work.
Walking in she greeted everyone she passed by while on the way to her office. Opening her office door she sees her friend and stops to converse
Nicki: Carlossss! [hugs him] How are you? How's the family?
Carlos: [hugs back] I see somebody's in a wayyy better mood than they were last week & we're good , we're all good
Nicki: That I am & that's good [procedes into the office]
Carlos : [follows her in] Speaking of families and whatnot ....when you gone get you a boyfriend huh? [lounges in her couch]
Nicki: [does that lil tongue thing she do all the time] not talking about this rn [and she takes a sip of her drink]
And don't you have a client to see ??
Carlos: matter of a fact I do [he gets up and heads out the door]
Nicki: mmmmhmmm thought so [gives him the side eye and takes another sip as he walks out]
When he shuts the door Nicki sighs and then gets started on her work for the day .
Across town Drake was getting ready for his day also. He had plans to go visit his mother and his little nieces today , but not before paying Carlos a visit to discuss his case furthermore. He was lowkey hoping he'd run into Nicki in the midst of it all.

Arriving at the office and getting past the receptionist, Drake was on his way to Carlos' office , but he bumped into him on the way . They greeted each other with that handshake hug thing men do.
Carlos: How's it goin Man U Doin alright
Drake: Pretty good , I'm fine how bout yourself
Carlos: Great , u all set ?
Drake: yeah , lm ready
Carlos : follow me
[carlos walked to his office followed by drake]

About 2 hours into discussing the case and Carlos getting to know more about Drake and what actually happened they were wrapping it up . They scheduled their next meeting and Carlos walked him out .
Drake: So what's up with Nicki , she single?
Carlos: yeah , but that's ....that's gone be a hard one my friend she ain't too easy
Drake: hmph . Imma get her one of these days
[procedes to leaving]

Drake: aight see ya later , u have a good day
Carlos: you too bruh [or whatever men call eachother]

After About an hour of driving out of the city Drake pulled into a very nice and quiet neighbor hood . A few short minutes later he'd arrived at his destination. His mother Sandi Graham whom which he loves dearly had be awaiting his visit all day. He got out of his car , locked his door and walked up the
knocked on the door , and shortly she was on the other side to greet him. Then they both go and have a seat at the dining room table.
Mama Graham : Hi son , how are you?
Drake: I'm good ma , living, how are you ? What you been up too ?
Mama Graham: ahh not too much just the usual.
Drake: just chillin it huh?
Mama Graham: yeah just chillin it u-
[interrupted by knocks on the door]
Drake: You stay , I'll get it .
[gets up and goes to get the door , it's his cousin . with his nieces Spirit & Sade

Spirit & Sade : Uncle Dwakeeeeee!!!!! [runs up to him and hugs him
Drake: Heyyyy Guyssss! [picks them both up, hugs and kisses threir heads]
Sade : I miss you uncle
Spirit: i miss you too
Drake: I missed yhall too [hugs them again and carries them inside]

After work when Nicki finally makes it home she changes into something more casual comfortable. She then eats a little somethin and decides to take a nap
[Maybe an hour and a half later]
Awakening from her nap , Nicki gets a craving for ice cream . She goes to her freezer only to find that she is completely out. With that she grabbed her wallet ,keys and headed out the front door.

After the visit with his family Drakes nieces ended going home to spend the night with their uncle. Once they got back to Drakes he made them dinner and played for a while before he got an idea to treat his little princesses to ice cream.
Drake : guess whattt?
Spirit and Sade : what ! Ooo Please tell me .
Drake : I got a surprise for u guys
Spirit : is it a pwesent?
Sade : I wanna know tell me tell me
Drake: go get your shoes on so you can see
[they run off to put on their little boots]
