Chapter 3

Nicki had just arrived at Baskin Robbins and was on her was inside when she saw someone familiar. He was with two little girls and just happened to be going where she was going. He gave her a small smile as she walked upto him.

Drake: Hey

Nicki: Hi

Drake: You here on your own

Nicki: yeah, just fancied some ice cream and I had none left

Drake: why don't you come and join us,

Nicki: I-

Drake: it's nothing serious, just a friendly chat. I'm not gonna hurt you

She bit her lip before agreeing causing his to smiled. The four of them walked in together and found themselves somewhere to sit before Drake took everyone's orders including nicki who was persistent to get her own.

Nicki: Hey little ladybugs, what's your names

Spirit: I'm spirit and this is my little sister Sade.

Nicki: well I must say they are beautiful names

Girls: thank you

Spirit: what's your name

Nicki: My name is Onika, but most people call me nicki

Sade: I like Onika better

Spirit: me too

Nicki: well you can call me that then

Spirit: I have a question

Nicki: what's up ladybug

Spirit: are you uncle drakes girlfriend

Nicki chuckled a little before answering the question.

Nicki: no sweetheart, me and your uncle are just friends

Sade: but I think uncle Drake likes you

Spirit: he does, you can see by the way he smiles at her

Both girls agreed with each other causing nicki to laugh.

Nicki: really, well maybe I like him too but you'll never find out until the time is right

Sade: and when will that be

Nicki: that's a secret

Drake then made his way back to where the girls were sat and handed out their ice creams before taking a seat next to nicki. Spirit and Sade just looked at each other and smirked which caused Drake to get suspicious.

Drake: something you wanna tell me

Sade: no its a secret

Drake: oh is it

They both nodded. He chuckled to himself.

Drake: I'll find out at some point.

Nicki just chuckled to herself causing him to look at her suspiciously too.

Drake: so you're in on this

Nicki: maybe I am

Drake: girls

He rolled his eyes and they all laughed. They spent about an hour just talking and kind of getting to know each other but only the basics as they did have to pay the kid some attention.

They were now on their way out and Drake was holding Spirits hand while nicki held Sade's. They walked nicki to her car where she crouched down to speak to the girls.
