Chapter 7

Drake answered the door and welcomed more family into his home greeting them all with a hug. The weather was nice and giving that his Condo was fairly big, everyone was occupied with something somewhere.

Ryan: drake

Drake: Ryan

Ryan: it's been a while

Drake: it has, how have you been

Ryan: good thank you and yourself

Drake: can't complain. Who this beauty here

Ryan: told you he's a charmer

They all chuckled.

Ryan: this is Olivia my girlfriend, Olivia this is drake my cousin

Olivia: very nice to meet you

Drake: you too

He let them walk in and make themselves comfortable whilst he check the new message on his phone.

I'm outside -Nicki

He headed out making sure to leave the latch on his door so he could get back in. He made his way outside and found her leaning against her car. He held his arms put and walked over to her while she did the same and met him in the middle for an embrace. He looked at her as she did the same to his and he leaned in and kissed her or which she gladly accepted. He pulled away and tucked a loose strand of her hair behind her hair.

Drake: hey beautiful, how are you

Nicki: I'm good thank you babe and yourself

Drake: can't complain

They both smiled at each other.

Drake: shall we head inside

Nicki: we shall

They both chuckled before he took her hand and walked with her back to his condo. Once they got there he walked in with her and walked around introducing her to the many people in the house before finally taking her to his mother.

Drake: this is Nicki and Nicki this is my mother

Nicki reached out her hand to give Sandi a handshake but was greeted with a hug instead.

Sandi: we do hugs in this family

She smiled and Nicki and Nicki smiled back already feeling welcomed by the person she had to impress most in drakes family.

Sandi: so you're the famous Nicki that's got my sons heart skipping beats

They all chuckled.

Nicki: I guess I am

She looked at drake and he smiled back at her.

Sandi: well it's a pleasure to meet you

Nicki: you too

Drake then took her away from the scene and lead her to the kitchen to get a drink. She leaned on the island as he made her a cocktail.

Nicki: you're going to have to give me a tour of this place at some point

Drake: indeed I will, I would've done it now but most of the rooms are occupied

Nicki: yeah, I'll find a chance to come over again and you can do it then

Drake: sounds like a plan

She just watched him as he made her drink, mesmerised by the way he was so in control of what he was doing. She watched as he walked over to her and place her drink down on the island.
