Hide and Seek

      Iris' high heel clad feet led her once again in front of the same bar after several nights of doing the same routine. Over the course of these several nights, all she did was to flirt like there was no tomorrow, get drunk until she almost passed out and end up in bed with different men wrapped around her naked body. She was truly living her life, she thought and there was nothing stopping her from doing so. Like a robot programmed to do a certain task, she went inside the bar that was packed with people and started looking for the man fitting for her standards. The men inside the bar did not disappoint and soon she found herself in the presence of not one but two men, chatting her up. Her seductive and naturally attracting aura really did wonders and she was lucky. Perhaps, too lucky. As the never-ending yet fun conversations went on, so were the drinks. Soon enough, tall glasses of alcoholic beverages and beer bottles were scattered around the table they were in. Shots were quickly being downed just as fast as it was being refilled. In no time, Iris found herself draped all over the handsome, who almost looked alike, men that were in the booth with her who were about to take her home.

       "Are we going to have our fun yet?" Iris giggled. She hooked her arms around the two men's arms while stumbling on her feet. God, was she so drunk. She was sure she would not remember one bit about this memorable night. The two men looked at each other and smirked. Oh how a fun night it would be indeed, they thought.

       The man who was nearer to her, whom she thought was actually more handsome than the other, leaned in and whispered, "Soon, darling. Soon." Iris giggled, the breath tickling her ears. She looked at the two men and gave them a lopsided grin, letting them take her to where they were going to have "fun". Like all the nights prior, she won't mind the different men sprawled on her bed, the aftermath of the liquor swirling in her belly or the deep and dark thoughts that came after. She didn't mind at all. She won't care.
