"Truth or dare?" Sylvia asked Janet as the glass bottle landed on her. They were playing the good old game of spin the bottle. It was their girl's night after all and a fun harmless game is just what they needed."Truth....?" Janet answered unsurely. She was never really one to pick a dare for she was too scared and knowing this, Sylvia rolled her eyes.
"Oh come on, Janet! You always pick truth, you wuss puss and because of that I'm making you choose a dare," Sylvia said boldly. Janet was about to argue but Sylvia quickly cut her off. "I dare you to make out with your pillow. Don't even try to argue, it's just a light dare!" she said. Knowing the type of shenanigans that her friends always pull off (meaning posting this disaster on the internet), Janet quickly rebutted.
"But that's—"
"You better do the dare or you'll face more embarrassing consequences," Sylvia said, raising her eyebrow, daring her to defy the given dare. Knowing Janet had no say in this whatsoever, she let out a defeated sigh. Iris and Brooke looked at each other and laughed. Their laughs were contagious and everybody soon followed. After everybody finished their own round of humiliating dares and shocking truths, their night out was left with dancing and off-tune singing. Let's not forget the glam face masks and juicy gossips.
"So, Brooke..." Ellen, the very social and loud-mouthed friend in their group, started her interrogation, leaving her statement hanging. Brooke raised her perfectly trimmed eyebrow questioningly.
"What is it now?" Brooke said, letting out a sigh knowing that tone of voice from her friend. She was going to ask for explicit details about something and when people refused to spill, she does not stop until she gets it. She tends to become very annoying. Emphasis on the very.
"I heard about your little boy toy... Just wondering if you've done the, you know," Ellen asked, wiggling her brows suggestively. God, this friend of hers didn't know when to back down.
"Woah, woah, woah! My virgin ears should not be hearing this," Dana said, another one of their innocent friends, actually trying to cover her ears. Ellen prevented her from doing so. They were all so overdramatic. It was just a simple question, she thought.
"You know I'm not ready for that. Besides, we're comfortable just enjoying the state we are in," Brooke said calmly. Ellen pouted when she realized there was not much details going on with her friend's almost lack of love life. This got Iris thinking of what really was happening behind their relationship. The lack of detail did not deter her mood however and she continued doing their girly stuff, moving on to more interesting topics.
