Taes pov:
I wake up hurled over the toilet wearing only a pair of jungkooks shorts, I have never felt worse, I feel like I've been hit by a truck. "Taeeeee, Tae where are you" I hear Jungkook calling for me I groan at the loud noise " in here" I grumble the bathroom door swings open letting in the light from outside I wince at the harsh light before looking up seeing six blurry figures standing there, " oh Tae" Jimin says and they all laugh at my state. " don't laugh at meeeee" I groan pouting at them, Jungkook walks over to me and crouches holding a glass full of orange liquid

" here drink this it will help with the hangover" he says while rubbing my back I bring the drink to my mouth taking in a gulp before harshly spitting it back into the glass, " ew what the hell is this, it taste like shit" I whine frowning at the drink, " it's ginger ale Tae it's not the nicest of stuff but it works" Jungkook chuckles I turn to the others to see them nodding, I sigh in defeat before chugging the glass groaning at the fowl taste it left in my mouth, I give the glass back to Jungkook who passes it to one of the other before helping me stand up I cling on to his arms feeling extremely weak I fall into his arms, he looks at me confused

" Tae?" I look at him tears brimming in my eyes " kookie.....kookie I - I c-can't .... f-feel my .....l-legs." I start gasping for breath in panic "shit Tae, Namjoon hyung call Dr Wang now tell him we need him,"Namjoon nods before hastily walking away, "Jimin help me with Tae" Jimin walks over to me before swinging one of my arms over his shoulder Jungkook supporting the other one, they gentle place down in my bed, trying to get me to calm down but I can't hear them I can't hear anything I stare at my legs hoping to see them move I start crying hysterically " kookie kookie please why aren't they moving kookie help me!" I scream out to him he holds me from behind whispering words into my ears trying to get me to calm down

why aren't my legs moving...why can I feel them oh god please move " hey hey baby it's okay it's okay shhhhh Dr Wang is on his way, he will know what to do okay, just breathe for me okay in for three out for five ok, come do it with me" I breathe with him just like he said trying to get my breathing under control I calm down a little tears still flowing from my eyes as I desperately wait for Dr Wang's arrival. Jimin sits at the end of the bed tears in his eyes not knowing what to do yoongi comes into the room looking around at all the crying faces

he walks over to Jimin who immediately wraps his arms around his neck burying his face in yoongis shoulder annoyed at himself that he can't help me.
Dr Wang arrives around 20 minutes later he walks into the room to see me shaking in fear in the bed with Jungkook holding me, he walks over to me quickly, " hey Tae I'm gonna run a couple of tests and need you to answer all my questions ok?" I nod in response, "good now at any point I need you to tell me if you feel anything, he takes a small plastic needle from it's wrapping he starts poking my lower calf "can you feel this?" I shake my head in response more tears leaving my eyes as I begin to panic even more " hey shhh it's okay I'm right here" Jungkook tries to comfort me kissing the top of my head lightly.

He moves higher up my leg just above my knee and pokes again "ouch" I shout at as the needle comes in to contact with my skin " felt that?" I nod releasing a breath that I was holding, " Tae remember when I said that it had spread to the bone marrow in your legs?" I nod "it's attacking you muscles now causing temporary paralysis, I really think you should reconsider what we talking about tae it's no- "No! I don't want to make the rest of my memories in a hospital bed I want to be with my hyungs" I sob loudly causing the others in the room so tear up seeing me in such distress, I was about to argue again when I feel a drip on my shoulder , I turn to my shoulder to see "blood?" I look up at Jungkook to see his nose bleeding and his face scrunched up like he is in pain

"kookie?! Kookie look at me" Jungkook?" Dr Wang calls out, the others look over at Jungkook worry shown on there faces Namjoon rushes over to him a shaking him lightly before he collapses in Namjoon's arms, " shit" Dr Wang curses before reaching for his phone he picks it up and dials a number " hello yes this Dr Wang I need two ambulances sent to my location immediately, 2 terminal cancer patients one 19 year old male with temporary paralysis the other 21 year old male bleeding while fallen unconscious"

, I can't hear anything but my heartbeat I'm gasping like I'm drowning but there's no water, my chest hurts. it really hurts. I hear a familiar ringing in my ears I frantically look around panicking as I see four paramedics rush in the room there voices are muffled and echoey, they are blurry to see I close my eyes and reopen them hoping it will help it doesn't I see Jungkook  being placed on a stretcher, "kookie" I whisper out before everything just turns black.

3rd person POV:

4 paramedics rush into the room leaving Jimin, yoongi, Hobi, Jin and Namjoon huddled in the far corner of the room traumatised by the events unraveling infront of there eyes, " Taehyung? Taehyung I need you to look at me" Dr Wang calls out to Taehyung who is slowly slipping away Jungkook is pulled on to a stretcher by two other paramedics and an oxygen mask is placed on his face as they strap him on to the stretcher and cart him out of the room and into one of the ambulances, a soft inaudible whisper is heard in the room before Taehyung closes his eyes and collapses onto the bed

" Taetae!, Taetae please wake up" Jimin cries out desperately to his soulmate, they pull Taehyung on to the other stretcher stabbing a large needle into his chest allowing Taehyung to breathe, they place an oxygen mask over his face before leaving to the other ambulance.

Dr Wang turns to the traumatised group of friends huddled in the corner he turns to Jin first asking if he is okay concerned for one of his longest patients Jin nods in reply and a tear falls down his, " I know this must be a lot for you all judging by your faces I'm guessing both Taehyung and Jungkook haven't been honest with you lately about their conditions, come let's go sit down and talk before heading to the hospital"

the 5 friends nod hesitantly wondering what the two were keeping from them, they sit down around Taehyungs dining room table, " tell me what do you know" Dr Wang asks before telling them anything, " well we found out two mornings ago that Taes cancer spread again worse this time and now he really doesn't have much time left at all we've been working hard to complete Taes bucket list whilst he still can" yoongi replies being the only one keeping in his emotions right now

" I see and Jungkook?" " Jungkook hasn't really told us anything lately we've all been focused on Tae and he's seemed likes he's been doing okay?" Yoongi again replies for the group, the doctor nods and sighs looking down, " Jungkooks cancer has also spread to his brain this time, there's a tumor too dangerous to remove and too aggressive it will surely  kill him without intervention" "are you saying he's going to die soon too?" Yoongi asks in a shaky voice his emotions finally getting the better of him, " when he was first diagnosed I gave him three years at most anyways but with the rate that it's spreading and after what I saw today he has 2 months at most, I have to warn you all about something" they all look at him curiously wondering what could possibly worse than losing two of there closest friends so close together in time

" it's called the surge when this happens it sort of sends the body into shock.. they will feel no pain it is like they are completely fine, the surge still baffles some doctors. A surge can last from an hour to a few days but just know when this happens death always quickly follows once the surge ends the body will shut down and they will slip away" " why are you telling us this" Jimin asks crying clinging on to yoongi and Hobi, " I'm telling you this because I'm worried about how kind time will be to Taehyung and Jungkook... I hope you understand what I mean, I really must go now I have to go and check on your friends" they all nod and the doctor leaves in his car to drive to the hospital.

The friends sit in silence crying silently to one another " what are we going to do without them?" Jimin chokes out.
