Wake up.

Jungkook pov:next day

I woke up feeling better today I gave everyone a scare yesterday but I'm feeling much better now and today they wake Tae up, I'm so nervous but so hopeful. Maybe this is what his body needed, a good rest and then when he wakes up we can go home and complete his list, that's the most important thing to me, he is the most important thing to me. It is currently 10am they are planning on waking him up around midday, my hyungs went to Jin hyungs room to shower that's where they have been sleeping none of them wanted to leave afraid of what would happen if they left but now that I'm awake they felt a little more relaxed, well relaxed enough to go to as far away as Jin hyungs room to shower

Jimin came back first and sat at the end of Taes bed holding his leg gently he turns to me before speaking, " you know Tae has always been so bubbly and outgoing there was never a dull moment with this idiot" we both chuckle at his insult, " he was always smiling no matter what, always wanting to make others happy even after losing all his family he still smiles, but I always knew they were fake, not that anyone else would notice, that is until you came... His smiles weren't fake anymore in fact they were brighter ever, Thankyou for that, for making my Tae happy, he deserves to be happy" tears start flowing from Jimins eyes falling on his cheeks

slowly I stand up still feeling a little weak and walk towards him wrapping my hands around him running them up and down his back comforting him " I'm going to miss him so much, why does he have to be taken away from me" Jimin chokes out between sobs " I can't do it without him, I really can't he's the one who gave me my happiness, he came up to me when I was four he called himself  Dr Taetae and cleaned a cut on my knee and brought me ice cream" I chuckled at this before replying "that is such a Tae thing to do" I say whilst pulling away from the him sitting on the edge of my bed making our knees touch

" we were inseparable from that day.  You know he's the one who got me with yoongi,  he slipped my phone number in yoongis locker telling him to message me" Jimin and I chuckled at another classic Tae move, " and after I told him that I might be in love with both yoongi and Hobi he didn't judge me or call me disgusting or greedy like most people would he just told me that I had a big heart" we smile at eachother whilst looking at Taehyung

" I was too scared to talk to yoongi about the Hobi thing afraid he would break up with me so one day he set up yoongi and Hobi and they really hit it off Tae spied on them the whole time, the whole thing was set up but Hobi and yoongi were completely oblivious to this little Cupid's plan, he walked up to them when they sat on a bench in park and told them he had been following them all day yoongi instantly panicked thinking Tae was going to tell me that yoongi was cheating on me even though he wasn't" Jimin chuckled while I listened closely smiling at the little things my love has done for others

" he managed to calm yoongi and tell him about my feelings he was surprised but also releaved turns out he had been feeling the same way, so Tae set us all up on a date it was supposed to be a group hang out with me, Tae, Jin and yoongi but when me and yoongi arrived at Taes house he lets us in we were surprised to see Hobi sat on his couch but before we could question him he ran out of the house taking the keys with him locking us inside" I chuckled at Taehyungs actions Jimin giggled along with me stroking the back of Taes hand

" Tae gave me everything I know those are just the big impacts he had on my life I didn't even mention all the times in middle school where he would bring two lunches knowing I wouldn't have anything, or the times where he would buy sweet&salted mixed popcorn knowing he hates salted popcorn but I love it, or the times where he would buy a large fries knowing I would eat his even when I said I didn't want anything, he was always there making me smile bringing light to my day, he always made so many small sacrifices. His many goal in life was to make other people happy .... how am I gonna survive without him" I place my hand on Jimins leg rubbing it a little with my thumb as he wipes a tear from his eyes and smiles sadly at me.

The time has come for them to wake Tae up, Dr Wang comes in the room with a team of four nurses, the politely asks us to step back, we all come and sit  on my bed as we watch the tube being removed from Taes throat, I wince at then sight thinking how uncomfortable that must have been if he was awake. They remove the frame from around his head and wait to see if he will start breathing on his own, we all wait anxiously, worry growing as it feels like it's been forever since Tae took a breath when it's really only been about 20 seconds, a panic look starts to grow on the nurses faces before a wave of relief washes over everyone as we sees Taes chest rise and fall at his own will.

They inject a liquid into his cannula before Dr Wang turns to us and speaks " he should hopefully wake up in the next few hours the injection should speed up the process if anything seems wrong call for me staight away or press the nurses call button. Page me when he wakes up if there are no problems, don't be alarmed if he struggles to talk when he firsts wakes up his throat is slightly inflamed from having the tube in for so long" he smiles at us before taking his leave.

We all sit patiently waiting staring at Tae, I hold his hand gently caressing it, the only sound that can be heard is the beeping of Taes heart monitor and the ticking of the clock on the wall it's already been 3 hours Tae could wake up at any moment we all sit fidgeting with anticipation, "Jin hyung please stop tapping your foot on the floor or I will cut.It.Off." Yoongi says in annoyed tone, "sorry yoongi" Jin apologise looking away from the deadly glare he's receiving, I chuckle bitterly at the interaction shaking my head, I abruptly stop when I feel a weak grip on my hand, I look down and see Taehyungs fingers twitch slightly I look up at him to see the most beautiful pair of brown doe eyes starting back at me

" Tae !" I gasp out lunging myself forward at him hugging him placing a kiss on his forehead causing him to smile, everyone looks up and rushes over to my side so see the bright boxy smile smiling back at us, " h-h-hi ...h-hy-un-gs, h-hi .. c-chim-my " he squeaks out in a broken raspy voice " shhh don't talk baby it will hurt you from the tube" he looks at me worriedly remembering what happened " everything is okay I'm okay now, I'm not gonna leave you" I reassure him kissing his knuckles gently, a tear slips from his eye and Jimin wipes it away

" hey Tae bear you gotta stop scaring me okay, now hurry up and get better we got stuff to do" Jimin chuckles wiping the fresh tears out of his eyes sighing in relife that Tae woke up, Taehyung smiles brightly and nods in response, " I will go fetch Dr Wang" Hobi says getting up and leaving the room he comes back a few minutes later with Dr Wang who smiles warmly seeing Taehyung smile, " hey Tae how are you feeling ?" "O-ok-Kay" he scruches his face at the pain in his throat, " I'm sorry about that but it was the only way we could give you body rest, you weren't breathing very well on your own, I can give you some medicine that will make it feel a little numb for a while so it won't hurt, would you like some?" Tae nods "okay I will bring some... Tae can I ask..did you think about it?" Dr Wang asks sighing already knowing his answer "n-no I-I'm n-not s-stay-ying ... h-here," " well then can I atleast request that someone live with you?" Dr Wang asks hopeful at his new proposal, Tae sighs but nods " I will" I speak up " no we all will, we will live together treasuring each moment" Jimin jumps in, we all smile at his idea including Tae who's smile is brighter than anyone's

" good, now that that's settled you can leave as soon as I get your medicine I won't force you to stay knowing you would be unhappy here but I'm happy that you have your hyungs to look out for you" Dr Wang says smiling at Tae. "T-thank-you S-suho" Tae stutters out whispering in a low voice just loud enough for us all to hear " Dr Wang smiles at him warmly " you're welcome Tae now wait here while I go fetch that medicine" he says before swiftly leaving the room.
