"Luke, where are we going?" you asked your boyfriend. He was leading you up a hill, hand in hand.
"Somewhere," he said with a sneaky smile.
"You could have told me we were going on a hike, its hard to hike in heels," you complained.
"Awe, the poor little baby. Do you want me to pack you?" he said, acting like he's talking to a two year old.
"Yes, I would actually," you said smiling. He picked you up and carried you bridal style. "So, why did you make me dress up if we were going hiking?"
"We're not hiking, it just takes a short walk to get there," Luke explained. You nodded and stayed quiet.
He pulled back a branch and revealed an opening. There was a tent and a fire pit with chairs circling it, over looking the town. Luke put you down and you gasped.
"Luke.... this is beautiful," you said walking to the tent.
"You said that you enjoyed camping," he said smiling.
"Babe, I... thank you," you said hugging him. You kissed him passionately and hugged him again.
"So you don't feel uncomfortable, after we have our date, the other boys are coming up so you won't be scared I will force you to do anything," he whispered.
"Do you really think I think you're like that?" you said giggling.
"No, but it's just a precaution. I don't want you to get uncomfortable, I want you to like being with me," he said smirking.
"I love being with you," you said pecking his lips.
______
You had changed into something more comfortable after Luke's plans for your date. The other boys were on their way to the camping spot.
You and Luke had the best date. You guys ate, danced, and looked at the stars. Perfect date, if you ask me.
"I just got a text from Ash, their car broke down so they won't be coming," Luke told you, looking at his phone.
"Awe dang," you said smiling. 'Now what are we gonna do?"
"What do you want to do?" Luke asked.
"Cuddle while you sing," you said yawning.
"Okay," he said smirking at you. He put the fire out while you climbed into the tent. He brought in the lantern and laid down beside you. You snuggled into Luke, him wrapping his arm around you.
"What do you want me to sing?" he asked you.
"Long Way Home," you said smirking. That was your favorite song off the album and he knew that. Every time you two were alone, he would always sing it for you.
"Take me back to the middle of nowhere, back to the place only you and I share. Remember all the memories, the fireflies and make believe." he sang. You covered yourself up and fell asleep to the soft sound of his voice.
