I took a break because of school and other stuff but it's over now! Sorry for the wait and thank you for 29k reads :)

Louis's POV:

I froze at her words.

Love.

Not to be cliche, but that was a strong word.

Did Lexi really mean it?

..Or did it just slip out of her mouth by accident?

I replayed her words in my head, over and over and over.

"Goodnight, love you," Lexi said. 

I sighed.

There was no point in overthinking this. I could always just ask her if she meant it. I didn't really care if she loved me or not...right?

The next morning, I woke up to giggling.

Startled, I opened my eyes and noticed Lexi wasn't beside me. I turned my head towards where the shriek came from, and I saw that Jake and Lexi were tickling each other.

Just as I was about to lie back down, Lexi noticed I was up. "You idiot! You woke him up!" I heard Lexi whisper to Jake, as I heard a quiet slap, as Jake muttered an ow.

I pulled the sheets over my head, as Lexi jumped onto the bed.

She snatched the sheets away from me, grinning. "Good morning!!!" Lexi cheerfully said.

"I'm tired, leave me alone," I whined, trying to pull the sheets back to me.

Lexi smacked my hand and tugged on my shirt. "Louis if you don't wake up I'm going to without you."

I instantly woke up. "Fine."

She smiled and sit cross-legged on the bed. I got up and headed into the bathroom to brush my teeth and got changed into a white shirt with a grey plaid overshirt and black jeans.

When I walked out of the bathroom, Jake and Lexi were already near the door, waiting for me.

Jake peeked out of our hotel room door.

"What are you doing?" I asked him, confused.

"He's just making the coast is clear because I'm not supposed to be here right now Louis." Lexi reminded me.

"The coast is clear," Jake said. We all scurried to the elevator and went down to the main lobby.

Jake, Lexi, and I all walked to the hotel's cafeteria. It was only two to a table, so once we all grabbed our breakfast, Lexi and I sat down at a table, while Jake went ahead and sat down with Hannah next to our table.

Lexi and I talked and ate together for a bit before I remembered what Lexi said to me yesterday.

Shit. Do I just ask her about it? Do I not?

Lexi was talking to me about how she wanted to learn French, but I was too deep in thought to pay attention to what she was saying.

Lexi looked at me, then stopped talking. "Am I talking too much or something? I can stop if you want."
