If Her Royal Highness was struggling with infertility, we can imagine how uncomfortable it would have been to face the millions of "When are you going to have another?" questions everyone asks women after their first child. Having children already makes women feel as if their body belongs to someone else—both the baby sharing your space and every single nosy person you encounter—and this must be compounded for celebrity moms. (How many diamond Cartier necklaces you want to bet her husband Prince Mateo didn't have to answer that question?)
Still, considering the relentlessness of paparazzi, it's pretty impressive that Crown Princess Emmarie has managed to reveal both of her pregnancies, relatively late in the game without the media playing, "Is that a baby bump?" Crown Princess Emmarie and Prince Mateo welcomed daughter Princess Earla in May 2012.
Since Earla was born, the royal has been working steadily, but opened up about how difficult it is to be "present" for her daughter when she's serving her country.
