Earlier this year, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles announces that they had planned to adopt thirteen year old girl from Ghana.
This week, Clarence House has announced that the adoption process was completed and the couple are now parents to Karisa Etomi who will be known as Princess Karisa thanks to Queen Elizabeth II who granted Karisa a princess of the United Kingdom entitled to the style of Royal Highness under letters patent issued on 31 March 2018, which gave the title and style to all children of the Prince of Wales whether biological or adopted. She is thus styled "Her Royal Highness Princess Karisa of Wales".
The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry now have a little sister while The Duchess of Cambridge now has a little sister in law.
Princess Karisa of Wales shares the same birthday as her adoptive niece, Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, they are literally ten years apart in age.
Princess Karisa is expected to attend St George's Ascot to complete her Year Nine. This is the same school that her adoptive older cousin, Princess Beatrice of York attended and was even head Girl in her final year.
The first royal outing for Princess Karisa will be as a special attendant at the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding.
