Engagement Interview

"A warm welcome to everybody. It's a very big and very happy day in our lives. I am sure this is not much of a surprise to you, judging by the last two months writings, nevertheless, it is a very happy day and it's still something very new for us. So welcome." Malia said.

"First of all, Your Majesty, Congratulations and we the people are happy that you have your life partner. Second of all, James, this must be a big change in your life. What has Your Majesty told you about like in the Royal Family?" Interviewer 1 asked.

"She's been telling me it's a great life, and very interesting, and some difficult things, but in general, a very interesting life. So I'm looking forward to experience this life." James answered.

"And what could be one of the difficult things?" Interviewer 1 asked.

"I'll let you know when I find out." James answered.

"Queen Malia is now introducing a brand new King to the Royal Family. If you were to say a few things about yourself to the Kravonian people, what would you say?" Interviewer 2 asked.

"I think I would say that I'm a very nice person, very understanding, and I'm looking forward to come to this country, and become a Kravonian citizen, and a Kravonian King." James answered.

"What did you know about this country before you went to Kravonia?" Interviewer 3 asked.

"Actually, Seeing as I'm English, I didn't know much, but, no I didn't know much of Kravonia, except maybe a bit of history. That's all." James answered.

"First I want to, I would like to say congratulations, very nice engagement." Interviewer 4 said.

"Thank you very much." Malia said.

"But now I want to ask you, Your Majesty, when did James propose to you and did he really go down on his knees?" Interviewer 4 asked.

"It was very romantic. He proposed to me this summer and yes, he did go down on his knees." Malia answered.

"James, how does your sister, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge feel about your engagement?" Interviewer 5 asked.

"She is really excited for me to finally settle down and be happy with Malia. She's also been very helpful with my transition to royal life." James answered.

"James...Are you able to speak Yoruba with His Royal Highness Prince Bakari?" Interviewer 6 asked.

"Well, I have been learning but we both happen to speak Spanish so." James answered.

"What about family increase? Do you have any plans in that direction?" Interviewer 7 asked.

"Pardon?" James asked.

"What about family increase, children?" Interviewer 7 asked.

"Well, as we said earlier, getting married is a very big step, and I think we'd like to get used to that idea first." James answered.

"But obviously, we would also like to have our own family, as we've been raised in happy families. But that's yet to come; let's start with the marriage." Malia added.

"James, Apart from being a husband, will you continue with your own business career?" Interviewer 8 asked.

"I think it's very important to have your own interests, be it hobbies, business, work, and I'm very much an independent person. I'd very much like to keep doing something of my own, yes." James answered.

"What kind of things?" Interviewer 8 asked.

"To be honest with you, I cannot answer that until I've actually lived there for a bit and seen what opportunities there are." James replies.
