The following was a poem written by two hopeless romantics, one still guarded and the other opening up.

N: bold

K: italics

I don't want to know

what love is without you

I don't want to feel your absence

or the residue of your words

the ones that you whispered in my ear

caressing my face

Be mine as forever is not enough

and death will never do us part

So seek my heart in the day and in the night

as I will seek your heart in my life and in your mine

Just as you lean towards my lips and say

Say that this is eternal

A never-ending bliss

Brush your lips against mine

So I never know what it's like to miss

Show me what everlasting means

When you promise me lifetimes

Travel in and out of my mind

As if time has no guidelines

Give my heart it's beating

When you carry me higher

As life may make us old but never dim our fire

So last with me the eternity that is set for thee

So may our kids be the best of "we"

So save me the time and save me the aches

By speaking the words "I do"

as long as it may take

To link our bond forever

no matter the hard work it may take

So that we can take it out on one another

Breath out and I'll breathe you in

Engulf your worst and evolve your best

You can't compare us with the rest

Hands intertwined you've become mine

I lost myself in your veins

And spread into your mind

I can't believe we are encaptivated

And finally, you're forever mine
