By about 9 am, we have the whole squad organized to write out our plan of action & put it into action tonight.
We all gather around on the couch, chairs, & the floor in the living room. Enrique, Val, Lupe, me, Aidan, Leóne, & Shyama. Even though Mamá is at work right now, we still have a lot of people with us. But hey, you need to have a lot of people to be there for my little sis, & to be able to plan out something like this.
"Ok." I start, bringing everyone to focus on me. I pull out a notebook, looking at Shyama momentarily. "We'll write our questions out here, & you will ask these, & only these, leaving Val's identity completely unknown & not letting on to your relationship to her in any way, ok?"
Shyama nods, their navy bob moving slightly, a determined look on their face. "Ok. Got it." They sigh slowly. "This'll be... interesting... But I'll try my best."
Aidan puts his hand briefly on their shoulder & I raise my eyebrow slightly. I wonder if there's something going on between them? Which is totally fine with me, of course... They don't notice my expression. "It'll be ok. You don't have to be nervous."
They frown & nod, looking briefly at him, before looking at their feet. "Yeah... I know but... I'm nervous that I'll screw up..."
Val smiles kindly, looking in their direction. "It's ok. As long as they don't figure out who I am, & you just ask these questions, it'll be fine."
Shyama bites their lip nervously. "Ok... I'll take your word for it..."

I know their hair isn't navy, I tried to find a character creator w navy hair, but it was hard to find, so I just attached what the hair color might look like too. A little bit about them: they're Indian, agender & pan. They're friends w Aidan, bc they are both becoming lawyers, so they have similar classes. They also know some other people we've met as well, but I won't say who bc I don't wanna spoil. So just hang in there for more ;)
