I tried keeping a straight face but we both ended up laughing

we were laughing and I kept telling her about what had happened, somehow we ended up talking about my uncle — kayla obviously started that conversation

eli: it hasn't even been an hour since we had lunch

her phone went off

maya: cause I was too lazy to get out of bed

maya: the girls and I wanted to hang out with youuu!

maya: we haven't gone out with you this ENTIRE trip

maya: no we didn't, you were with arely, it's like your replacing us with those three idiots

maya: whatever kayla, have fun with your new little freak group

eli: what was that all about
kayla: maya was complaining about how I haven't been hanging out with them and that i've been spending all my time with you

eli: you should go hang out with them, i'll take a nap and we can go to the park tomorrow
kayla: nah it'll just be awkward, especially since I said what I said
eli: well to be fair.. she does talk a lot
