I turned the tv off and went to go lay next to kayla. we were taking pictures together on my phone when I got a message from kairi, I dropped my phone on my face and kayla laughed

eli: what does this man want
kayla: who knows..

I massaged my face from the hit and opened his message

eli: 'hey, can we meet up? I wanna talk'
kayla: ..
eli: talk? what does he wanna talk about? why can't he just send it in a text message
kayla: ..seems important, you gonna meet up with him?
eli: I feel like if I don't, i'm gonna regret it once we go back to japan

she made a face at me and I made a face back then I turned my attention back to my phone

eli: sure, when?
kairi: I would say right now but i'm a bit busy, and it's late. what about tomorrow?
eli: oh.. I have plans with dylan tomorrow, but i'm free in the evening if you're free?
kairi: ah, sure that's fine. shall i pick you up around 6?

my phone was at 1% so I threw myself on my bed before it could die and right as I plugged it in — it died
