Everyone's Special, Even if They Aren't Supernatural
⸺⚘⸺
I wanted to do a separate chapter for this specific scene just because when I watched it, it really showed what happened with Leonard or Harold. I do want to say one more thing, thank you for all of the views and the votes. I know it's not a lot but just seeing the notifications on my phone showing that someone voted on one of my chapters just makes me really happy so thank you all so much! :)

⸺THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY HAD JUST SAVED a museum from being robbed of its most pristine artifact. They were in a limo going to the academy and they saw a huge herd of people huddled around their home. They were all behind barricades and police officers. "They're coming!"
"I think I see their car!"
"I see them! I see the car!"
"Spaceboy! My favourite!" They all got out of the car and were waving at their fans. Klaus and Ben got out first, then Luther and Allison, then Diego and Maria. A boy a bit shorter than Maria ran up to her and grabbed her arm. "Excuse me, I'm your biggest fan!"
Diego grabbed Maria's hand and stepped in front of her. "Hey, hey, you aren't supposed to be in here."
He put a hand on her back and led her toward the academy. She looked back at the boy and saw Sir Reginald Hargreeves finish talking to him. She ran out from Diego and went past Sir Reginald Hargreeves. He called after her but she just ignored him. "Hey, I heard he said you weren't special, but don't worry. Everyone's special, even if they aren't supernatural."
He laughed a bit at that. "Just remember, you are special and you can do anything you want to, just put your mind to it."
"Number Zero." She heard Sir Reginald Hargreeves voice and she ran into the house out of fear. She looked back at the kid right before she went inside and gave him a small thumbs up. She just wanted to be nice to the kid. He had been through so much and she didn't even know but the way he looked at her was just hopeful. It was like he waited his whole life for that moment, and he did. Little did Maria know, that moment, changed his life.
I know it's a short chapter but the scene is short. I tried to lengthen it a bit but I still hope you enjoyed it. :)
