Dimitri POV

Roza lunged at me I knew that it was the darkness but it hurt to see her like this, I whimpered and she let go I could see the sadness and the hurt in her eyes. She than turned her head to everyone, the cameras were out and people were screaming at her, Roza's wolf ears went down and she looked scared. She ran out into the woods I heard a howl a few minutes after.

I looked at Lissa and she understood, I ran after her, I was trying to find her scent but she made a lot of false trail. Looks like she was used to being followed, after about an hour of searching I went back to the academy and went to the princess's dorm, I got there and clawed at the door and she opened.

- Hey Dimitri come in, she whispered I got in and changed back.

- Hello princess.

- Did you find her?

- No Roza is extremely good at losing someone on her tail, she had a lot of practice while on the run with you.

- How come?

- I came on your case too find you two about a year and a half ago, and every time we got a lead to where you were we arrived there we only got false trails. The only reason we found you in Portland was because we found that a car was stolen and we thought maybe it was you two, but turns out it wasn't so we decided to stay around just in case. We were there for about a week and one night I found you girls so, when I came back where we were staying, we made a plan for the next night to get you back. You know the rest.

- Wow I never thought she worked that hard to keep me off the radar.

- She did and she's always been like that, when we were younger Roza, Ivan and I were known across Baia as the troublemakers. We got in trouble all the time Roza may be three years younger then me but she was the worst of us she always came up with the best things to do. After she left we both wandered what to do it was not the same without her.

A/N I made the age difference between Dimitri and Rose smaller it will be more convenient in the story

- Ivan, what happen to him?

- Ivan was my best friend and I became his guardian after I graduated, one day Ivan gave me a day off so I could go see my family on my birthday. When I came back to the house the next day, the guardian who replaced me for the day and Ivan were both dead by the hands of strigoi.

- Omg I didn't know I'm so sorry!

- It's okay I just don't want Roza to end up like them, it was hard enough getting over I don't think I could get over her too.

- Hey it's okay, we'll find her but now you need to eat and sleep we will go look for her in a few hours.

- No you need to stay here Roza will truly kill me if you get hurt under my surveillance, I said with a shiver running up my spine.

- Wait don't tell me Rose scares you? she asked.

- Yes she does that woman is the scariest person I met she is even scarier than her father and mother combined.

- Wait who's her father?

- I don't know if I should tell you I think it's up to her to tell you.

- It's okay now go eat then sleep for at least two hours than you can go back out to look for her.

- Alright than I'll see you later princess.

- Goodbye Dimitri.

I went back outside, got to the cafeteria and ordered a lot of food, what can I say all that running made me hungry. I sat at the guardians table and Alberta was there.
