Rose POV

I woke up the next morning the same time I usually do, Tank was still sleeping in a little ball on my bed.

- Tank it's time to get up buddy, I said rubbing his back.

He woke up and licked my face, I got off the bed and changed into my work out clothes, I knew Dimitri and I had to talk about what happened before the rescue. So once I was ready Tank and I headed towards the gym I was in my own bubble trying to figure out how we are going to figure out what happened.

- Rose! yelled Alberta from behind me.

- What's up mom? I asked turning around.

- Victor Dashkov asked to see in his cell.

- Why?

- He said something about Dimitri being able to transform into a tiger, she said throwing me a worried look.

- Alright I'll go nobody can know about him it's bad enough they know about me.

We said goodbye and I headed down to the holding cells with Tank right beside me, I greeted the guardian who were in the command center and went to see Victor.

- You wanted to see me, I said coldly.

- Ah yes Rose I'm surprized that you found us so quickly last night I thought you would've been occupied with a certain tiger, he said with a devious smile, and I see you brought a friend with you.

He went to touch Tank through the bars, but my perfect psi hound just growled at him and almost bit his hand off.

- It's okay Tank I won't let him touch you ever again, I said to him and turned back to Victor, you're the one who out the lust charm on the necklace.

I said to him angrily.

- Indeed I did, but it didn't turn out the way I thought it would.

- Of course it didn't Dimitri's a great guardian, he spotted it only a few minutes after it started and besides it didn't mean anything were just friends, I told him.

- Well my dear you don't know how a lust charm works do you, he said.

- Of course I do it makes two people hook up, I told him.

- Yes and no Rose there has to be a certain degree of love and affection for it to work, he said seriously but still with a hint of a smile.

- You're lying, I told him, Dimitri doesn't love me if he did why didn't he tell me he had multiple occasions.

- Well maybe Rose you've misread his love for friendly affection and maybe he did the same for you but it's sad now because you've just realizes you love each other, considering...

- Considering I'll have to kill you, said a cold voice behind me.

I spun around and saw something I never thought I would see.

- Nathalie, I whispered and said to Victor, you had your own daughter turn strigoi!

- I would do anything for my daddy, she said and at the same time attacked me.

My reflects kicked in and I dodged her attack at the same time I hit her in the stomach, while Tank but her leg, she went to her knees.

- Rose, she whispered and her voice sounded just like when she was alive.

I was about to stake her when she said that, I made a mistake I promised myself I would never do again. I hesitated. She took that as an opportunity, she back handed me and kicked Tank, I flew into a wall and Tank whimpered. Hearing him be in pain made me want to her rip her head of and that's exactly what I did, I transformed and ran her way. I pined her on the floor and this time I didn't hesitate I ripped her head off, I transformed back and went to Tank. I picked him up and went back to the main floor of the school, I was walking down the corridors all bloody with Tank in my arms when I saw Dimitri running our way.
