AMMELIA’S POV

The three of us gaped at him, not believing what we heard.

“I... I’m sorry?” I stuttered while looking at him in shock.

“I said, get cleaning.” He repeated while raising an eyebrow.

“Everything?” Nicholas asked with wide eyes while I started looking around the tower then looked back at the guy with a look that says, 'Are you serious?"

“Yep. Everything, from this tower to the gate you passed by.” He said slowly like he was talking to kids.

‘Oh my gosh! I knew there was something unusual that was about to happen but I didn’t expect this.’

“Get going kids. I’ll check every now and then. Make sure you’re all finished before the year ends.” He said.

‘Eh?! The…. Y…. year!?’ I gaped at him.

Before we could utter another word, he was gone in a flash.

We stared at the vacant space for a few seconds.

“He’s serious.” I stated dreadfully.

'Come on man, a year? We're cleaning all this mess for a year!? What kind of assignment is that? Wait... let's calm down... he said before it ends so it could also be a month.'

“No kidding.” Nicholas said looking horrified.

"That guy was our teacher, right?" I asked them for confirmation.

"He couldn't be... right?" Nicholas and I stared at Liam who stared back at us.

“Well, shall we start?” Liam stated grabbing a broom out of nowhere.

“Liam.” Nicholas cried for help.

“What? I can’t do anything. I also dislike this assignment.” Liam grumbled. "And no matter what you do, he IS our teacher."

“Okay. I will clean up here and the stairs. There is no way am I going to pick weeds up from the soil where worms could just show up.” I stated while picking the cleaning materials beside the table that our ‘oh so honorable’ teacher left for us. Better to do this now and finish faster.

‘Let’s get this over with and then, let's buy some chocolate.’ I tried to think positively.

“Okay. I will be the one cleaning outside then.” Liam nodded.

“So, I will be the one cleaning downstairs..” Nicholas grumbled as he grabbed a rag amd broom from the corner.

“Well, let’s get cleaning. We have an hour more before the next subject.” Liam stated with the fakest encouraging smile I've ever seen.

"Let's also try killing the teacher later."
Liam said with a serious face as he goes down the stairs.

"Count me in." Nicholas said going down as well. Then, we started our assignment.

'Killing the teacher... may not be a bad idea.' I thought to myself as I pinched my nose, trying not to sneeze.

. . . . .

“Oh my gosh.” I gasped after a few minutes, sitting lifelessly on the stairs.

I took the mask that I was wearing while cleaning down and tried to breath in and out properly.

I always have a small stamina but I could still fight with a sword pretty well so that was the only thing that stopped dad from making me stop sword fighting. And... maybe because I was too cute when I begged not to stop. Okay, I'm just getting ahead of myself.
