~Persephone's POV~

I was sitting behind the door to my flat when, someone knocked on it.

"Go away," I snapped, as I rose from the floor.

"Seph. Let me in," Phil's voice boomed from the other side of the door.

"There's nothing you can do," I yelled, as I walked to my room.

"Can I at least tell you about Dan?" Phil questioned.

"I know he's dead!" I screamed, jumping onto my bed.

"Dead? No, he's in a bigger hospital," Phil yelled.

I got off my bed and opened the door and motioned Phil inside.

"So, he's still alive?" I demanded.

Phil nodded and smiled. I jumped into Phil's arms and started to cry (happy tears of course).

"How did you think Dan was dead?" Phil asked, setting me down.

"Well, the lady at the desk said he was gone, and usually when people say that at hospitals, it means they're dead," I stated, wiping away my tears.

"Okay. So, what are you gonna do for the rest of the day?" Phil asked, as he sat on my sofa.

"Uh, I'll probably just hang out here and wait for Ivan to get home so, we can go out for dinner," I informed, as I sat in the chair across the room from Phil.

"Can I stay here for the afternoon?" Phil pleaded.

"I expected you to go visit Dan in the hospital," I admitted.

"I would, but with the condition he's in, they won't let anyone see him," Phil said, I could see a bit of sadness flash into his eyes as he finished his sentence.

"Alright, you can stay," I decided, as I turned on the TV and put on an anime.

*A few hours later*

Ivan walked through the door and said, "Ready for dinner? I'm thinking Chinese."

"Let me get my shoes and I'll be ready," I replied, as I got up, went to my room, and put on my black Converse.

"Phil, would you like to come with us?" I asked, as I walked out of my room.

"I wouldn't want to be a bother so, you guys can go ahead without me," Phil insisted.

"You wouldn't be a bother," Ivan commented. "No. I insist on staying here. I can house sit for you," Phil offered. "Okay. Well, we're gonna go. Bye," I said, as I walked out the door.
