~Mark's POV~
*Mark's house in L.A.*
"Welcome to my humble abode," I smiled, opening the front door.
"I still don't see how you convinced Jean to let me come here," Seph said as she walked inside.
"I'm a master persuader," I winked.
"Whatever you say. Where am I staying?"
"Upstairs. Second door on the left."
"Okay. I'm going to check it out. Is that alright?"
"Do whatever you want. My house is your house."
"But do I have to wear pants?"
"In the land of Markiplier, clothes are optional."
"Good because pants are not my thing."
"Just wear underwear. Clothes are optional but underwear is mandatory."
"That's fair," Seph giggled and went upstairs.
Seph came back downstairs about twenty minutes later.
"I thought you got lost."
She sat down on the couch, "No. I was just thinking."
"About what?" I asked, sitting down next to her.
"Us," she replied, turning to face me.
"What do you mean?" I questioned, studying her face for answers.
"Did you invite me here for more than helping me escape London for a while?"
I looked at the floor, "No."
"You're lying," she stated, pointing at me.
"Why would you say that?" I asked, looking at her again.
"Because you can't look at someone when you lie to them. And when you said no you looked at the floor, not me."
"Okay. I admit it, I did bring you here for more than that."
"Then why did you?"
"Because I didn't want to lose you."
"What?"
"I didn't want you to go back to London because I was afraid I would lose you to Dan or Phil."
"What do you mean lose me to Dan or Phil?"
"I mean, I don't want you to fall in love with one of them."
"Why do you care who I fall in love with?"
We sat in silence for about five minutes. Neither of us dared to look at the other.
"Mark?"
I looked at her.
"Have you fallen in love with me?"
I bit my lip and slowly nodded.
